If you are the ‘spicy eater’ of your friend group I HIGHLY recommend the Chicken Phall Roll. It’s the perfect combination of SPICY and FLAVOR. Soooo much flavor with good heat. I could eat this daily if I lived closer.

um??? For what it is - This is the best wrap I have ever had in my life. I think it's called the chicken nizami roll. Seriously please stop by and order it - it was amazing

Perfect hole in the wall spot for Calcutta street food. I wish the phuchka came with the authentic sour and spicy water than the sweet/sour one.

Ordered the aloo paneer roll. I ordered it and intending to eat it as a snack/small lunch before catching the subway — it was fantastic. Super tasty with the red onion and I wished I ordered more of them. Would definitely love to come back next time I visit. Fast and efficient service.

Rolls are pretty good! I tried the Thelewala roll and the chatapata chicken roll, both were good but I liked the Chatapata chicken roll more.
The place doesn’t have much seating, consider it more like a take away place.

It’s my 2nd time falling victim to this place. Both times I have been wanting a delicious Indian curry in a wrap and that’s what I tell
Them and then they recommend this one to me and then I get it and it is SO DRY and
Not
Curry at all and I saw them cook the chicken and it was for literally 2 seconds like it’s probably not cooked and when you get it I want a delicious butter chicken smell but no. What does it smell like? A raw chicken breast. So Then you get the chicken ick. And then you’re so hungry that you can’t take it any more so you decide to open it and take a bite even though you fully don’t trust this chicken is even cooked and your bite is just dry. There is no sauce even though you asked for extra sauce because you knew it was gonna be dry by seeing it being made there are fruits to give you extra sauce and they said the sauce is in there but it’s not it is so damn dry and it is just a barely cooked piece of chicken in a wrap and it doesn’t even taste Indian and it does not taste delicious and I would not recommend anyone going here
edit: the food yesterday sunday july 13, 2025 was wayyy better. maybe they fired the crappy cook(s)?
I have been a loyal customer for ten years, and it was my favorite take-out restaurant in NYC. The food I got today was AWFUL- barely edible. I am saddened and would agree with the other reviewer Ahmed Ali, something has changed here for the worse. Not sure if it's a new chef, or what. It's saddening.
