A great spot in the UES for Thai. They have lots of great options - I got the Khao Soi today. The chicken is super tender and rich. The broth is creamy and bursting with flavor. I got Thai spicy level which wasn’t really that spicy to me… I love spicy food though!Decent portion size for the price for the khao soi. I think the other portion sizes are a bit smaller for the price point in my opinion.Good spot for a date or casual dinner

When I walked in to THEP, I was already familiar with Thai food and the scene in New York City. But, immediately I understood that this was no typical Thai restaurant - THEP was something entirely different and in the best way possible.We were greeted with joy and warmth from the staff. Our server, Gift, was the highlight of our experience at THEP. She was an absolute joy to have as our server. She recommended us to try the spicy sauce which made our already amazing food even more flavorful and authentic. She also was a lot of fun to talk to and converse with. We all felt very welcomed by Gift and hope to be served by her again when we’re back - because we will be back.Out of all the Asian cuisine I have tried in New York City across all the boroughs, this Thai restaurant holds a special place in my heart.Thank you to the wait and cook staff for everything. We will be back. Do yourself a favor and eat everything at THEP. You seriously won’t regret it.❤️
