This place is just on my way to my work and I used to love it until 8-9 months ago. I stopped getting coffee from here thereafter. But decided to give it a try by tempting ghost latte on the board. The service was annoyingly bad. The staff doesn’t want to listen to your order and then give you something else and make it a big deal if you call it out. I really want this place to be good again

I love trying new coffee shops, but today was my first—and definitely my last—time at Think Coffee. The man at the register was nice, but baby, the barista was not it.
First, I ordered the graham cracker latte, and there was absolutely nothing “graham cracker” about it. Second, while making my drink, the barista dropped honey on her hand and proceeded to lick it off—health violation #1. Then, when she poured the cinnamon into the cup, she blew the excess cinnamon off—health violation #2.
This was genuinely one of the most disgusting experiences I’ve ever had. And on top of that, she acted strange when I told her the drink was made wrong.
0/10.

Got a Spanish latte which was delicious but very expensive at almost $9 with oat milk and a tip. Cafe is cute inside but very warm and with little seating.

The Ghost latte sounded delicious and brought me in. Quiet atmosphere makes it ideal for studying, reading or meeting with a friend. The impatience of the staff at the counter turned me off. No one was behind me. Give new folks a minute to look over a menu. Don’t even have to offer recommendations just patience. Lady with the glasses & hair pulled up had an unfortunate attitude. Didn’t get through saying my whole order and just decided to leave /:

Place is good and has seating areas for meetings. Service is very bad and slow. There were not many people there, yet they took a long time to take my order and even longer to deliver it. I ordered an Americano, it took 15 minutes, and I had to get up to ask what happened. They had forgotten it.

The place is just ok, but is cramped with limited seating. My only issue is that they charge 75 cents more if you ask for light ice when you order a cold brew. Worse yet, they won't tell you this. I thought maybe they raised just recently raised the price so I just let it go. But then the customer behind me ordered the same thing and also asked for light ice. When they tried to overprice him he asked why didn't they just tell him first instead of just adding on the 75 cents extra for light ice without saying anything!

Good matcha. Not ceremonial grade, so not the best, but still good. I added cinnamon to mine.
I love to stop here in the mornings when I didn’t have time to make breakfast and get either something from the fridge or order a simple breakfast from the kitchen.

Not a common bean, special flavour but not enjoyable. They could have just robbed me of $8, but instead they were kind enough to give me a mini latte full of ice.

Yummy and refreshing strawberry lemonade and coffee .clean environment with friendly staff, good food and good music . Also appreciate the clean bathroom
The worst coffee I’ve had in the city. It’s supposedly an iced coffee with ‘sweet foam’. Came with 0 foam and the drink had 0 sweetness. It tastes like a really watery coffee. I couldn’t even drink it. It was $7+ for this tiny cup that is less than 4 inches tall. It’s absurd.
I come here when I need a reliable space to do work and grab a bite & bev - soy cortado, oat matcha, or chai latte. For a chain cafe, the baristas actually make good drinks! The food never misses—as a vegan, it’s nice they have options. Vegan bagel and avocado toast are pretty nice but expensive!
Cons: This location tends to play obnoxious 2010s pop songs that aren’t conducive to a warm cafe atmosphere. Just doesn’t match the vibe and makes it hard to focus on your conversation or your work. (This seems to be an NYC thing.) no wifi either.
The prices are pretty high here, as well. I guess that’s to be expected with the economic crisis we’re in right now.
Post-pandemic, cafés need to be better about defaulting to ceramic mugs/reusable ware. Seeing people sit at the tables (not taking their drink to-go) while sipping through plastic is so silly and wasteful. It’d be great if they could ask, “would you like that for here or to go?” Rather than sticking everything in plastic automatically. It’d show more commitment to their “reuse. Swap. Stay. Reduce cup waste and save $.50” signage.
I also wonder if the staff here kinda hate their jobs? They’re always a little low energy, like this is just another job. They don’t greet customers with enthusiasm, but they’re always amiable enough. I think they need to get paid more. I don’t blame them. I think there’s a disconnect in the company’s ethos of sustainability and social issues and the way the shops are actually run. There’s probably not a great sense of company culture, since it’s a chain. It just feels like this place doesn’t have a through-line of identity, and the staff couldn’t really care less/aren’t passionate about their jobs.
