I went there today with my 2 other friends (3 people total) we got about 8 dishes and the total was $165(not including tip). I left feeling full and happy. The atmosphere was great and the food was overall good with some duds.
Ranking of the stuff I tried
1. Truffle Mac and cheese - MY Favorite thing thing here!!! Delicious absolutely scrumptious. Rich truffle and mustard like taste and very very cheesy.
2. Steak with grits- steak was cooked a pretty pink/reddish(just the way I love) and the grits and greens were delicious !!! This and the truffle Mac are absolute must haves. You HAVE to try them. Will come back just for these again.
3. Soft shell crab - tasty crab (good portion full crab) with wasabi sauce. I don’t usually like wasabi but the taste was interesting and tasty here
4.Tuna tar tar tacos- perfect for three people because you get 3, tasty but kinda pricy for three tiny tacos. Still yummy tho!!
5. Popcorn chicken- tasty and seasoned well, about what you’d expect from popcorn chicken. I’ve had better though but still good.
6. Ugly potato - it was okay, wish there was more sauce or seasoning. But it’s a fried potato with feta chunks. The portion is good. I wouldn’t get it again.
7. Kimchi paella - it was okay. Good amount of kimchi and seafood but not seasoned to my taste.
8. Noodles- not good at all. Did not enjoy the seasoning or the taste. Texture was good
We also had the popcorn icecream which was tasty- vanilla ice cream with peanut nuts and caramel. I’m not a huge caramel sauce person but I enjoyed it. Nothing crazy.
I also had a cucumber lime drink in a glowing pouch and i thought the pouches were such a fun touch(only reason I got one). I found the taste refreshing and tasty!
I hope to come back soon and try more things! The waiter recommended the dumplings. Will report my thoughts soon.

Recommended dishes: Truffle Mac \u0026 Cheese, Steak with Grits
Tried: edamame dumplings (were made with truffle oil, really liked them), gnocchi (a bit spicy but so good), steak (also really good), popcorn ice cream (had manjar so that makes it soo okay to have ice cream for dinner at a restaurant)

Cozy date nite spot, delicious food. Smaller portions but priced accordingly, just wish I ordered more before kitchen closed. On me

We tried a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious and inventive. The meal was worth a trip to Thursday Kitchen. However, the place was so loud that it was hard to hear the server and those at my table. It made the overall experience less enjoyable than it should have been.

Waited about 30 min for a table on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was busy and noisy. I ordered a glass of the Malbec, edamame dumplings, spicy noodle and empanadas. All the dishes were good but not memorable. I felt rushed throughout. Will not be rushing back. Prefer Moyko.

Amazing food, crowd, service, and ambiance. The Yuzu tonic was exceptionally good, and the flavoring for all the meals was strong but not overpowering. Great place!

Nice environment, easy to talk to my buddy for his birthday. The service was very casual but the place really shone with the flavor. Small but powerful portions that are good to share. The steak is a must try

This place is a hip spot in East Village. We found some dishes to hit better than others. Our favorite dish was the steak. The noodles were also great.
Restaurantji Recommends
Very fun vibe that makes it a great night out or date spot - food is good but not that amazing. Still worth checking out but the wait can be long - about an hour for 2 people.

This place is fantastic! Every dish we got was delicious, the wine was great and was a generous serving. Highly recommend the Mac and cheese, the popcorn chicken, and the asparagus.

We loved it! We got 5 shared places and 1 dessert along with sangrias. The staff was very considerate and let us dine in late as well. 10/10 recommend

It’s goated because it’s walk in only so you know you can go on a Saturday and wait 30 min-1 hour to be seated - I would take this over an incredible restaurant that is literally impossible to get a reservation at (which is pretty much every good NYC restaurant). This is probably my most visited dinner spot in NYC because it’s an easy walk in in EV.
The food itself is phenomenal. My favorites are the edamame dumplings and soft shell crab. The popcorn chicken is the best bang for your buck. The steak is good too but I haven’t had it recently. I don’t think they have a liquor license so they only have soju cocktails and Asian beers.
Vibe of the place is great. Staff are friendly and do what they do well. It’s always crowded and pretty packed without feeling uncomfortable.

The food was very tasty, we had chicken, steak, edamame, spicy noodle and a desert. The food potions are ridiculously small and yes overpriced for what you receive, because I cook a variey of food it would be nothing to duplicate what we had. If anyone is vising NY I will recommend Thursday very light lunch snack the food is not heavy at all.
