Great coffee and sandwiches. This is a deli so don't expect gourmet or imaginative food. Service is QUICK. Food comes out QUICK. Greta for breakfast, brunch or lunch.
The food was great nice portions and our server Sergio was friendly and attentive. The drinks with alcohol was okay but it was nice to be at a restaurant and enjoy the company of my friends without pressure of being rushed out to make space for the next customers. New York needs more diners like this. If you have a party with more than 4 people in it book ahead with Open table.
After food is served wait staff should be coming to the table to ask if everything is good. Ask if they need water refill that was not offered.
Good choice for a quick bite before going into Penn Station or Madison Square Garden. Large menu of diner standards.
We wanted an authentic diner experience and we found it. Conveniently located near Madison Square Garden, Penn Station and Herald's Square. We enjoyed the expanded menu and endless offers for more coffee.
It's in a very busy area, but the restaurant is spacious enough to accommodate many guests. Easy to get to, with friendly servers and that classic New York atmosphere I was looking for. The prices were very reasonable, especially given the touristy location. Also comfortable for solo visitors. Loved it.
Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. There was very little atmosphere. TVs we're on and, as the restaurant only had a few customers, the waiters gathered next to them to watch. The food was good - tasty and a good portion. Competitively prices against other NY diners. We chose here as we wanted the full 'American diner' experience, however, we had the most miserable waiter ever! In the end it was quite comical as he barely spoke, never smiled and walked at a snails pace across the restaurant.
Wonderful ambient and food! Really big portions! You need to save some space for the dessert, amazing Key Lime Pie
Good variety on the menu. Husband had a decent omelette with hash browns, and I had a Cobb salad. Compared to other diners where I've eaten, the food was good, but not exceptional. Location is right by Penn Station and open 24/7, so excellent choice for train travelers.
Went to the city for a show and picked this diner because it was very close to MSG. The three of us got there early and were seated early. There was honestly only 1 table occupied other than us (4:30 pm) which we thought was a bad sign. Our server was very sweet and gave us time to view the menu. We ordered the Cuban, a burger and French toast. The serving size was very large ( I could only eat half the Cuban) and the food was tasty. The icing on the cake were the prices! The three of us ate for $60 total... in the city!! We would not hesitate to eat there again as it truly is a gem!!!

Food was very bad and overpriced for what it was. Nice looking diner, but very obviously a tourist trap.
We arrived early and was greeted thankfully they had plenty of spare tables. The portions sizes are very big so if you know you will struggle to eat it, best to share 😉 even with two adults we struggled to finish the pancakes. The pancakes were absolutely amazing, light and fluffy, tasted delicious. Service was good. Would recommend you visit at least once to experience it.
Lovely diner experience, as it brings me back to the old days. I got to introduce my younger co-workers to this style and they were amused.
We had a lovely breakfast at the Tick Tock Diner. Service was quick, the food was tasty, and we managed to dine at a time when it was relatively quiet.
Perfectly average food and service with a very extensive menu and New York prices. Our fish and chips and french toast were fine; the dry-as-hell Cuban sandwich would get laughed out of Miami.
