This review is for their Premium Matcha Latte I made the mistake of choosing Tiger Sugar over Wanpo, don’t do what I did! I traveled in the rain to this place in Chinatown for their Matcha latte which I LOVED!! only to discover that they’ve changed the recipe for this drink. It’s now laden with sugar and cream, just like the majority of their other drinks. No more tinge of genuine green bitter goodness left, the complex layer of taste that made this drink so good before!
Oh, and the CUSTOMER SEVICE is TERRIBLE! Even after knowing what I wrote above, about traveling here (in the rain no less!) just for the drink, they will not accommodate a substitute. I find that to be terrible customer service. If you enjoy sugary drinks with no character, come here. If you have a refined palate and appreciate complex flavors, go somewhere else! Me? I’ll be on the hunt for a good matcha boba drink again now

Went a while ago and just got to posting my review. We ordered the jumbo boba topping (was limited edition a while ago). Drink itself was okay but a bit too sweet for me, even with less sugar. Was a bit disappointed by the jumbo boba topping — was expecting it to be a huge tapioca boba, but was more of a coffee jelly type texture that wasn’t as chewy. Drinks had nice presentation and came out quickly.
