The food and service at Time and Tide was incredible. We couldn’t decide when choosing from the menu so we ended up ordering more than half of the menu items. The nori fries, sardine toast, and goldfish cracker were the perfect things to start off our meal, the grand plateau had some of my favorite bites of the night, the aged swordfish is unlike anything I’ve had before, all of the sides were a perfect compliment to our entrees, and the desserts were incredible. The staff was friendly and genuinely seemed happy to see us. Can’t wait to go back to try the few dishes we missed!

Service was not great. A lot of performative “we should get a Michelin star” sort of activity like lots of unhelpful comments about the menu “the “Large Dishes”‘means the dishes are large” and super slow w/ no acknowledgement. Wasn’t that busy but entrees showed up 60 minutes after ordering. While waiting, our waiter said she was leaving and that we were in good hands with someone but someone didn’t get the message. At minute 59 we tried to tell them we were no longer interested in the entrees and that the kitchen should just cancel them. Then surprise, third string backup waiter shows up with our food. No doubt forgotten under a heating lamp waiting for the first waiter, the one who left mid service, to pick up. We did learn some stuff though - like heat lamps really dry out prawns.

Underwhelming, overpriced. That seafood plateau, GRAND seafood plateau was $94. Nothing grand about it first of all.
Seafood was overly seasoned, diced to small pieces. Can’t taste the freshness. For a seafood restaurant, it is disappointing to see that it did not put the ingredients in the center of the experience.
Squid was cold.

The critics are dead wrong about this restaurant. It is absolutely terrible. The food is not good. The overall menu lacks cohesiveness. The prices are outrageous and the portions are tiny. We regret that we wasted so much money on this lousy meal. DON’T GO.

Time and Tide strikes the perfect balance between creative and delicious. It’s the kind of place you immediately want to return to.
I started with their vodka martini made with smoked olive brine—super unique and absolutely fantastic. Elliott stuck with his usual Boulevardier, which he loved.
For appetizers, we had the shrimp cocktail with a punchy wasabi cocktail sauce, plus the sardines and squid cacao e pepe—both packed with flavor.
For mains, I had the grilled prawns and selected the cashew salsa macha side sauce that was spicy and delicious; a side of roasted cabbage that was perfection. Elliott went for the fluke Milanese with its cilantro caper side sauce, paired with crispy black rice that we couldn’t stop eating.
Dessert was a shared lemon cake with the silkiest coconut sorbet (I could have thrown a shot of rum on top) that was the perfect ending.
The vibe at Time and Tide is very vibrant but polished, and the food is thoughtful and spot-on. We’ll definitely be back.

Solid experience overall. The space is beautiful and reminiscent of Crown Shy. Food is fantastic and has a really interesting variety of seafood options.

Hospitality at its finest! Popped into the bar for light fare and bubbles. All of the bartenders and support staff were very attentive. Chris, the bartender was especially helpful and knowledgeable. The food was true to its roots. The mackerel escabeche was beautifully plated. The Nori fries were so much briny goodness that the sauces on the side were not needed. I wish I had more space for the play on Cacio e Pepe made of squid. All the more reason to return to this beautiful space. Couldn’t help but notice the tiled bar and interiors. It’s a vibe!

I absolutely loved my experience at Time and Tide! It’s not only a beautiful space, but also some of the most delicious and inventive food I have had in awhile. Standouts were the goldfish, the grand plateau, and the halibut pithivier. The hospitality was incredibly warm across the board — you can tell this team is passionate about what they do. I definitely see myself coming back soon, whether just for a cocktail and a snack at their beautiful bar, or for the full experience in the dining room.

I expected seriously delicious preparations of fish, but I didn’t think the cocktails would be as good as they are. I really really hope this place opens for lunch soon…

Time and Tide offers diners a culinary odyssey across the sea. It’s the “Goldilocks” kind of restaurant where everything — from the food to the service — is just right. The atmosphere is clean and fresh with subtle, yet cohesive artistic nods to the “tide” theme. The menu is elegantly portrayed, and the wine list extensive. Our server, Jaylin, took extra time to explain the dishes for us. (We had never heard of a tuna collar before.) The attention to detail across the restaurant sets it apart. Highly recommend.

Time & Tide is a gem of a restaurant, beautiful in its simplicity yet thoughtfully designed with nods to the coastal East Coast. The atmosphere perfectly complements the food, which is fresh, flavorful, and inspired. Every dish we tried was a highlight—from the raw bar to the vibrant vegetable sides and exceptional sauces. The larger-format fish dishes are a must; the prawns and swordfish especially stood out and shouldn’t be missed. The cocktails are incredible—especially the Submariner, which quickly became my favorite. The desserts were also outstanding, beautifully balanced and the perfect way to end the meal. This restaurant captures the coastal vibe effortlessly, with thoughtful touches in both atmosphere and menu. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a refined yet warm dining experience!

Very upscale NYC vibes for a dinner spot. Dark with candlelight.
Felt quite bougie as they offer caviar.
It’s all food and steak here, so be prepared for a delicious seafood treat.
Got the halibut and it was covered in a delicious croissant. The croissant flavor overpowered the fish heavily though so it feels like you’re eating a croissant.
The prawns were very delicious with two sauces to pick from. Well worth the value.
The cheddar biscuit that looks like a Goldfish was unique and fun. Tasted good but the texture was a bit soft and moist.
Overall, pass on the biscuit, get oysters and prawns, and hit or miss with the fish.
The music in here is quite loud so note that.
