Got takeout, a Cuban and beef empanada. The pork in the Cuban was simply amazing and the beef in the empanada was moist and seasoned perfectly. If you’re in the market for Cuban food or just delicious food in general, this is a good option.

Had the Cubano sandwich. I don't even like pickles or mustard but this sandwich was amazing. Very friendly staff? Recommended and will go back!

I only ever come to this location whenever I'm too late to go to the 56th street location since they close at 4PM, and the difference in quality is astounding. I normally get the buy 1 meat with 3 sides option to go and twice that I've gone there, I've had a bad experience for the same price as their other location.

I normally get the pernil, tostones and 2 sides of rice. The first time I went, I was given ONE side of rice, the driest pernil I've ever had and they forgot the tostones. The second time, I got the same exact service and quality except they remembered the tostones but only gave me 2 of them which were mushy like maduros (all other locations give 3 tostones as a side). The guy barely listened to me when I was ordering. Do they not move the meat around on its juices every now and then to prevent it from drying up under those heating bulbs?

Go to their location on 56th street. They're not rushed with the service and put more effort into serving your food.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Tina’s Restaurant delivery service. I placed an order for my brother, who was receiving chemotherapy at Memorial Sloan Kettering (160 E 53rd St.), and the delivery driver refused to bring the food beyond the lobby, despite my clear instructions. When I explained on the phone that my brother was too ill to come downstairs, the driver simply said “lobby” and hung up on me.

I had prepaid for the order and included a 20% tip, thinking the service would be respectful. Instead, it was rude and inconsiderate. I called the restaurant to request a refund for the tip, considering the circumstances, but they refused and were just as unhelpful as the driver.

If the restaurant is unable or unwilling to deliver directly to patients at this location, they should have notified me before accepting the order, like other restaurants have done in the past. The insensitivity and lack of customer care from both the driver and the restaurant were shocking.

I believe my request for a tip refund was reasonable, given the situation, but the restaurant’s refusal speaks volumes about their poor service. I do not recommend Tina’s Restaurant to anyone, especially if you’re looking for a reliable and compassionate delivery service.

Where to begin, I placed an order of Ropa bieja with white rice maduros tostones and one empanada. The Ropa bieja had two large pieces of fat/mystery meat cuts, no flavor and the vegetables that were served with it were soggy and watery in texture. The rice was oily … the maduros weren’t cooked thoroughly because when you bite into it - it was yellow and raw. I waited around 5 minutes for the tostones to come out of the fryer and they handed me TWO tostones for my 21$ platter. Not to mention the empanadas were flavorless and full of oil. Not even the green sauce they give you was good! lol I will never go here again and I don’t recommend going here. I wish I could rewind time and get my 21$ back.
