Tino's is great but they need to find a better way to stagger reservations so they don't make people wait an unreasonable amount of time (with a reservation), and so that diners don't feel rushed because they're taking up space and people who are waiting to die are on top of them. Food is fantastic, the octopus is a must order. The one tip I'll give is to make a reservation and call 1 hour prior to confirm, and maybe call again to 30mins out to let them know your ETA. Otherwise expect to wait 30mins even with a res

Tino's is reliable and homey. The food is great and they really treat you like friends from the minute you step in there. The service isn't speedy and it's not meant to be. It's like dining in Europe — they let you enjoy and don't rush you out.

Best lamb chops ever! Food was incredible, the dips, the Greek salad, the chips!

I’ve been trying new restaurants this entire week and this is one of the one so far, everything is just so good and tasty. Literally everything I ate was good. I trates my boyfriend to dinner for his birthday, we got 3 appetizers, 2 entrees, and dessert for $117 total. Pretty small place, there’s always a wait even with a reservation, very nice host, bring your own bottle as well so you can drink whatever you want while eating. I will definitely be coming to this restaurant again soon, I want to try everything on the menu because everything I have so far was just so good.Pita bread w spread: 8.6/10.Saganaki (fried cheese): 8.8/10.Octapodi Sharas (grilled octopus): 9/10.Paidakia (lamb chops & fries): 8.5/10.Greek-Style mille feuille dessert 10/10

Wow, this place is popular!! Expect to wait for your table, even with a reservation. But then, once you're seated, the magic begins.First, BYOB, and let the waitstaff open and pour for you. Next, survey the simple and superb menu and choose your salad or appetizers and your main dish.Everything we ordered was fresh in excellent. And when I had to abandon my partner and my food to run to my dying mother's side, the restaurant owner treated my guy to a lovely dessert. All in all, a terrific place.

Very cozy restaurant! My boyfriend and I went on a date night and the food was delicious! We got the octopus, the Seafood Orzo, and the Arni Souvlaki and all of them were cooked perfectly and tasted great! We were given a desert at the end that was delicious when we tried it. Will be returning!

We were in NY for surgery my husband was having at Mt Sinai. Lady at Hotel gave us recommendation for Tino's Greek restaurant. We decide to give it a try. Well, thanks to the Lady at the front desk at the hotel. From the moment we walked in the door , we knew we got great advice. What a hidden Gem. The owner and staff were super welcoming, the ambiance, cozy and the food/service was superb!. We liked it so much, I even went back next day with a friend that was in town. Highly recommend.!

We love Tino's!! A frequent neighborhood spot for us. My only wish is that the restaurant was slightly larger so we could stay longer, as they need to turnover tables quickly to meet the demand!

This food is sooooo fresh, and you can tell everything is really prepared with care. Every dish tasted amazing and so flavorful. They even gave us a complimentary creme puff pastry dessert at the end. 10/10 date night experience!

Finally a Greek restaurant in the area that’s actually good! Save your money at any other place… even if they have good reviews, this is the only Greek restaurant worth going to in the Yorkville area. Tino’s does it right. Fried calamari is a must.

Our new favorite Greek restaurant. It’s up there with Elea or Korali; in fact, it’s better, more authentic and cheaper. The Lavraki is excellent, the saganaki also very good. The Octapodi is closer to the Greek original. A complimentary Greek-Style mille feuille is served at the end. Very tasty, be aware it can power a small-sized nuclear plant for a month. The restaurant is pretty quiet; the atmosphere is cozy--they celebrate birthdays, that sort of things--and Iannis & family are very friendly. Only potential drawbacks: 1. they do not have a spirit license yet, so the restaurant is BYOB (which helps bring the price down, though); 2. not open for lunch during the weekdays. Highly recommended.
