We dined in. Three people. Ordered two main items, soda, and a cocktail. $100+tip. Food took one hour to arrive.Food was OK. There was only one server, very friendly but it was very hard to get their attention before or after food arrived.
I love neighborhood places and would support them fully but I am not sure how pricey they should be and how much service should I expect, with or without this pricetag.

Very tasty food. Very authentic with a little Latin touch, just to be perfect. The seafood paella is superb. It has a light Latin touch, but it just makes it perfect. The Spanish one tends to be on the sweet side, and adding the more garlic flavor (not over powering) is just perfect. The pulpo is very well made and great presentation. Great wine selection. Crema Catalana is creamy but not overpowering. The light salty churro with chocolate sauce make it a perfect finish. Half open kitchen that is super clean. The waiter is efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable. Place is kept miraculously clean, including the well decorated

We absolutely loved every part of our dinner at Tinto. The food was amazing - we had the tuna tartare and I will order it again every time. Tinto has an amazing combination of classic Spanish and Latin cuisine that takes flavor to the next level. Even more impressive was that our waiter Ernesto overheard it was our anniversary - put a “Happy Anniversary” chocolate on our dessert - and brought over a champagne toast! Talk about service! The ambiance is also amazing!

The problem with food reviews is that we really love to eat and always forget to take photos. My bad! ?
That aside, we went for brunch and it was incredible. Excellent flavor, great drinks, lovely service, and nice on the wallet. We have a tapas spot we’d go to downtown, but between the money and pretentious nature of this experience, I’m inclined to never go back. We have everything uptown!!!!!
The pulpo a la plancha - a classic, can’t go wrong, shrimp in garlic sauce - wow, I could eat a vat of that sauce, truffle fries - another classic, and the churros - dude, that dude is killing it on the fryer… the crispness on the outside and the fluffiness in the inside for both the fries and churros are the stuff of dreams…. Churros with nicely balanced caramel sauce? Add an espresso and you’re ready to take on the world.
Please go support restaurants like this!!! A special find.

We celebrated our 22nd anniversary tonight at Tinto Tapas Restaurant. Very tasty, the tuna tartare is out of this world delicious! Ernesto is an excellent server, he brought my wife an extra cookie when I decided that I would eat the first one myself - looks like I’ll make it to 23!

Immaculate vibes. A little too expensive. Nice spot for wine and small bites, don't come too hungry.

We shared several tapas (shrimp and purpose were outstanding! ) and the seafood Paella. Everything was delicious! Great service, too. Recommend & will be back!

I really really wanted to like the place. They forgot one of our dishes and the food was uninspiring. Ordered muscles and chorizo and it was just kinda unseasoned and bland. The neighborhood really needs a fine dining establishment and, based on this experience, this ain’t it

The food was very good, but not great. Some dishes could have been executed better. But overall tasty tapas. The cocktails left something to be desired. Maybe I am spoiled living in Manhattan but it feels like they need a true mixologist. The service was good, the server did everything and was very nice, managing the tables well. The atmosphere was nice but again, nothing to write home about and could be improved with some minor adjustments to the music and lighting. Overall a good experience but definitely room for improvement. A lot of potential in an area with not many other fine restaurants.

Go for the happy hour, stay for the paella. The space is intimate and cozy, and perfect for a relaxing, laid back evening up in The Heights.
