I've been to Tios on two occasions to celebrate friends' birthday. Both times, the service was poor. I was told they were under new management both times. I hope that things would change for the better and they begin to thrive. Not a wide menu and very, very small. My friend ordered a drink ?(Titos and a splash of cranberry. She was charged 14 dollars for the liquor and 2 dollars for the splash of cranberry juice). Way too expensive for an 8 oz drink. Why doesn't the drink come with juice? Anyways, I have no intentions ever to return but I do wish them luck.

It's still one of the best spots in the area. Management keeps changing, however, which is a bit disconcerting, but the food remains tasty, and the music has gotten really good!!

I had the pleasure of dining at Tios Bistro and I must say, it was a delightful experience. My visit was completely improvised, but it turned out to be a wonderful evening of good food and great ambiance. To start, we decided to share the calamari as an appetizer. The calamari was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The accompanying dipping sauce added a burst of flavor and complemented the dish perfectly. For the main course, we opted for a burger and beef fajitas. The burger was juicy and flavorful. The toppings and condiments were fresh and added to the overall satisfaction of the dish. The beef fajitas were equally tasteful, with tender strips of beef, sautéed vegetables, and a delicious blend of spices. One of the highlights of our evening was the wine tasting event happening at Tios Bistro. The staff kindly offered us the opportunity to participate, and we gladly accepted. The wine selection showcased a variety of Spanish wines from the region of La Mancha. Each wine had its own unique character and taste, and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the different flavors and aromas. The wine tasting added an extra layer of sophistication to our dining experience. The overall ambiance of Tios Bistro was warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had a memorable dining experience. The decor was tastefully done, creating a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. In conclusion, Tios Bistro on Malcolm X Blvd in Harlem is a hidden gem that offers delicious food, a pleasant ambiance, and even the occasional wine tasting event.

Overpriced for the amount of food and drinks that are given. Maybe try happy hour. Might feel more appropriate. Service was good ?

Me and my friends have patronized this spot since the beginning. What happened? Food is ehhhh and drinks are horrible. The owner or manager, whomever she is slammed the door in some customers faces last night and said she is tired. They won’t see me again. Treat us right when you bring these places to our community, as we are the ones primarily supporting you. Just close down already.

I dropped by here after a musical performance, late on a Saturday night. My friend and I were looking for some late night eats and fortunately the kitchen was open. Yay! We sat at the bar, and the ambience was pretty casual and fine. Music volume was good, and the place wasn't too crowded. The outdoor areas were pretty neat, too. Unfortunately, we had a difficult time with the food & beverage. The bartender was busy, which is fine, and took about 10 minutes to flag him down to order. I ordered the wings and yucca fries and a beer. My friend ordered empanadas. Prices were very high - almost $9 for a bottled Corona, $12 for two small empanadas, and $14 for 5 wings and fries. I waited about 20 minutes for my food before checking in with the bartender, who assured me the order of food was coming. 25 minutes beyond that, my friend had finished his meal and I wasn't served. Finally, as we got the checks, my meal came out - and was short a wing (5 on the menu, I got 4) and no yucca fries. I was so hungry I didn't try to dispute it.I used to work in bars and totally understand that stuff happens, but I felt there was a major breakdown in logistics here. 40 minutes is a long time to wait for an incomplete order, and nothing was done to really rectify it. The place wasn't crowded so it wasn't an issue with volume. The bartender was not communicative at all and only said a few words at a time, so I think they just forgot to submit my order. The food was tasty but small portions for the high price, so I'd avoid the wings and maybe try another dish.

Everybody I was with said the food was good by far the best thing we ordered was the fish tacos. Only complaint is the website isn't updated with the menu. Service is good and it has a chill hip chic ambiance in Harlem. Would reccomend.

As someone who works in the service industry I don’t really like leaving harsh reviews, but the service I received here after frequenting a few times was actually ridiculous. We came in and we’re sat at the bar, 10 minutes pass by no menus no water, nothing. Wave a waitress down to ask for menus and she looks like a deer in headlights, someone else gets us menus a while later. Bartender seems busy so we’re not pestering him,he’s been friendly the few times I’ve been before. I wait about 15 more minutes and he finally asks me what I want to drink and I look at the menu to confirm it’s the right one, he says “Think about it.” and then just leaves for another 10 minutes. Meanwhile tables who arrived 10 minutes after us already have food on the table? At this point I’m genuinely angry, not just at being dismissed, but the general lack of professionalism for a restaurant. Was going to order food, but decided to just leave instead. It takes more than decoration to be a restaurant, maybe hire more staff and train better if you're even training at all.
