I loved the weekday lunch set menu (Pad Thai + Thai Iced Tea + One Spring Roll for $17), because it was both delicious and affordable. The portions were generous.
ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant is small, with a total of 6 tables or so. Although they have a heater, it gets cold during the winter, because the door keeps opening and closing.
FOOD: I liked the expansive menu, the lunch special, and clearly labeled vegetarian options. The Pad Thai was a little bit sweet to my liking, but still yummy.

If you like your Thai food spicy, then ask for “Thai-spicy” otherwise even “medium spicy” is hardly spicy at all. But spice level aside, the food at Tiptara is excellent and very fresh. I highly recommend the duck salad and the crispy pork belly.
My absolute favorite place. I go at least once a week. Food is great and the service is excellent. The new additions to the menu are wonderful and I hope there will be more on the way. Only one wish....Plum wine? 😆
