Delicious and unique items available on the menu. The staff, food, and environment and overall experience were 10/10. Definitely check it out!
portions are small, wait staff took long to take orders or check on us, price is high for the value, food was all good though and vibes were good
There's no better spot on the Upper East Side! Perfect for lunch or dinner after enjoying the Metropolitan Museum or the Guggenheim. Daniel, Vanessa, and Juliana at the door are most welcoming. Rafa and Marcial behind the bar make the best margaritas in New York City (the secret? Cointreau and fresh lime). The service is top notch, especially if you're in Claritza, César, or Rosa's sections! And the food — from the excellent (new) strip steak to the Mexican-influenced salmon sushi — takes Mexican cuisine to a new level. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Food good, service not good, noise Level in middle room almost intolerable and there were only 3 tables total in there. Bus boys spoke no English. Food far more expensive than ever before. Not sure I would go back and it used to be one of my favorites .
Welcoming and wonderful. Excellent food and service. Perfect for special occasion. Fantastic Margaritas, guacamole, and unusual quesadillas.
Terrific choice for a lively group dinner! Delicious food, intoxicating margaritas, and wonderfully attentive service. Five Stars!
I’ve been going to Toloache in NYC for over 15 years, and it continues to be one of my absolute favorite spots in the city. The food is always amazing — consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. But what really sets Toloache apart is the people. The staff has always been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making every visit feel like you’re dining with family. Whether you’re there for a casual dinner or a special occasion, they go above and beyond to make it a great experience. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch Mexican cuisine in the heart of Manhattan!
Food very average with side dish like rice at an additional cost. Drinks watered down and served without mixing stick. I had to use a knife to stir drink since waiter was not around.
Typical low key family dinner. Every dish was well executed and the service was excellent. Very welcoming atmosphere.
Overpriced and pretty small portions. $62 for Carne Asada? Would be better off going to Smith and Wollensky's at that cost.

Daniel, Rafael, and Vanessa were are outstanding and so is the food. My only item I think should be attentioned to is the relative new printed menu, the type is too small for the ambient lighting, hard to read.
Great food- excellent flavor - tables way to close constantly shuffling to let waiters through
The food was excellent, but the portions rather small for the price. They were very accommodating in spite of the fact that the weather suddenly changed and we were thrust into a rainy late afternoon early evening, dinner rather than sunny and 74°. I will be back when I can afford it again.
The door is always great and the service seamless but attentive. It's been our go to for Mexican food for ages!
Came in the afternoon and it was perfect. The food was amazing and the service from Clara was exactly what you want. She was attentive and responsive, and had great suggestions for vegetarian options that aren’t exactly listed as such. The margaritas were delicious and the food was outstanding.
