Typical low key family dinner. Every dish was well executed and the service was excellent. Very welcoming atmosphere.
Overpriced and pretty small portions. $62 for Carne Asada? Would be better off going to Smith and Wollensky's at that cost.
Daniel, Rafael, and Vanessa were are outstanding and so is the food. My only item I think should be attentioned to is the relative new printed menu, the type is too small for the ambient lighting, hard to read.
Great food- excellent flavor - tables way to close constantly shuffling to let waiters through
The food was excellent, but the portions rather small for the price. They were very accommodating in spite of the fact that the weather suddenly changed and we were thrust into a rainy late afternoon early evening, dinner rather than sunny and 74°. I will be back when I can afford it again.
The door is always great and the service seamless but attentive. It's been our go to for Mexican food for ages!
Came in the afternoon and it was perfect. The food was amazing and the service from Clara was exactly what you want. She was attentive and responsive, and had great suggestions for vegetarian options that aren’t exactly listed as such. The margaritas were delicious and the food was outstanding.

Greeting was excellent by hostesses. Perla the bartender was excellent. Took our drink order promptly and followed up with the dinner order. Food delivered quickly. Hot food was appealing in appearance and taste was superb. Conversation with the staff was especially pleasant since they made us feel special. Overall a great experience. Can't wait to return.
Nice setting and reasonable space between tables. Food was very good Only issue was the noise level. Being a party to the conversation taking place at the next table is not a very pleasant experience.

Wonderful neighborhood restaurant for delicious Mexican food. The mole was delicious. The service fantastic. We sat at the bar and the bartender went above and beyond to make us comfortable and made accommodations to a request I had for mole on my veg enchiladas.
My partner had the steak and liked it very much.
Dietary restrictions: The enchiladas I ordered came with a cream sauce and I was able to switch to mole to avoid the dairy.

Quite overpriced for the portion size. Food is decent but flavors lack some nuance and depth. Won’t blow you away. Ingredients are fresh and produce is well picked however. Service and vibes are solid.
Found this place by chance after falling in love with it years ago when my boyfriend now husband took me on a date and WOW! i needed to leave a review. The food here is AMAZING with an authentic Mexican SABOR. I Will not even recommend a special dish or drink because every single thing is exquisite.

Toloache is a Mexican restaurant a whole level above the usual. Excellent food, convivial atmosphere, friendly staff, and service that is efficient and warm. I, for one, am an avid fan of their shredded duck with a tamarind sauce. We have never a had a disappointing meal.
Excellent, excellent food; most enjoyable atmosphere; can be a little raucous when crowded but it you choose your time carefully you can eat when it's not packed. A must go-to restaurant for mexican cuisine.
