Visited this place the day after Valentines day, and its true what they say about wait times! My friend and I waited for a little over two hours, but since we cleared our schedules to be there, we had no issue and was worth the wait! We shared cucumber with miso and the cod roe udon. We also had lychee martinis and she ordered a float (cant remember which one..), everything was absolutely incredible! The jazz, the service, the food! We'll be back on our next visit to NYC!
Food, vibe, and alcohol are fine but it was too crowded. You often need to share table with others and it’s also loud, making it a bit hard to talk to others. The waiting time was also too long so I don’t think it’s worth it
We went on a random weekday and had to wait in line for an hour to get in. But the food, music and atmosphere were all worth the wait. The music was amazing, very old school jazz with lots of improvisation. They have different artists every day so the experience is probably different. The music is not very loud and you can easily have a conversation. The menu is extensive, lots of interesting food and a separate section listing all their vegetarian options.
