This place always has fresh and delicious fish. Its one of the last affordable options left in the area so please support them. Cozy and casual atmosphere but the food feels elevated. Service is always great.

First time we tried this place. We got the lunch special, Alaska roll California roll, and eel roll. Overall, the taste was fine.

The lunch special plate was $28 and came with very delicious sashimi — really tasty.

The Alaska California rolls were $18, and they were nothing special at all. Paying $18 for this roll expected much better quality. They still had frozen imitation crab meat inside, which was a big disappointment. Honestly, it...

Quietly keeping the standard for 'Old Soul' sushi in the West Village.

In a neighborhood increasingly dominated by $300 'performance' omakases and neon-lit fusion spots, Tomo21 is a breath of fresh air. It feels like a sanctuary. It’s the kind of place where the rice temperature is actually respected and the fish-to-rice ratio is dialed in with mathematical precision.
