Loved the breakfast menus. Had their egg + bacon sandwich (+ tomatoes) on croissant. Superb. But no Tabasco! Tabasco is a must have at breakfast venues. It's illegal not to have a bottle.

The man at the register today was so unfriendly and standoffish when it came to being asked to be helpful, it put a bad taste in my mouth and makes me not want to visit this location anymore. If you’re in a customer facing position, don’t bring your misery into other people’s mornings.

I ordered a SEC bagel with scallion cream cheese on an everything bagel ($14). The bagel was standard, it rivals other top bagel places in NYC. The bagel was good, I don’t have a lot of complaints. The reason why this isn’t a 5-star is because the price is a bit high for a regular bagel, considering the fact that the portion felt smaller than other bagels I’ve had around the city. A typical bagel sandwich should be around $10-12, and I believe that $14 is a bit high. The wait time is also really long since the line is long, but they expedited the system by taking people’s orders in line the moment they line up. However, the issue is that they take your order too early so if you change your mind, it’s too late since it’s already being made.

Came here for a late lunch. We ordered the Stantini on an everything bagel with cream cheese on the side, an iced coffee, and a lemon bar.

The Stantini, which is lox, lettuce, onion, cucumber, and a dill and scallion cream cheese, was extremely delicious. I split one and wished I had got a whole one for myself. There was a decent portion of salmon and the vegetables added a nice crunch and freshness. The bagel itself had a great texture that was crunchy toasty on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Would definitely get again.

The lemon bar was kind of a letdown. There was no crunchy element to it so the entire texture was just soft, which is not my personal preference. The lemon flavor itself though was good. And coffee is coffee, nothing to write home about.

Overall, I see myself coming back for a solid bagel sandwich any time I have a craving or find myself in the area.

There is nothing like fresh bagels, and Tompkins has exactly that. Be prepared to wait about 20 to 30 minutes, but it's worth it in the end. Sourdough and everything bagel hits

This was meant to be a quick pit stop after trying out a different bagel place that didn’t meet expectations but this place, wow. Smells great from when you walk in, prices are good, and it’s crazy filling. I had to save half for later! Would highly recommend!

Best gluten free bagels I’ve had! I tried the Blueberry Cream Cheese and The Danz, both were absolutely delicious. Must try!

Edited to add an update that I’ve been slightly disappointed lately in the consistency of our orders. See pics attached for an example of how much variance there is in the cream cheese from one visit to the next. 😕 We never know what to expect so we’ve started ordering a small container of cc to go in case we end up with a “light shmear”.

I’ve been meaning to post a review here for years! TSB has been our Sunday morning go-to place since it opened. Delicious and great quality, fresh bagels every time. Wide variety of cream cheeses, spreads, and specialty sandwiches. Tons of other food items available for purchase, too, from bottled water and orange juice to pastries to hot sauce and honey. Lovely service. Never disappointed!

Very decent bagel, but it cost me a little over $7 for a bagel and cream cheese. It's not worth the price and I feel like I could find a cheaper bagel of the same or better quality elsewhere.
