Specifically visited this place due to the Seinfeld connection. Tried their vegetarian burger (no sauce in the burger - had to pay extra for tomato, lettuce and fries), eggplant parmi sandwich as well as mushroom soup. Maybe the meat here is better. The food and service was pretty average. However, the portion sizes were pretty good. Go for the nostalgia, not sure about the food.

Truly a pleasant surprise. Typical place where you can enjoy a pleasant American meal. I recommend the cheese burger, really excellent. However, be careful with the sandwiches, the portions are really generous, if you take one, 2 can easily eat.

We wanted to go to the Seinfeld diner. The atmosphere and people were wonderful. My water glass was filled so many times, that impressed me. I felt like it gave me a typical New York diner experience. The food was not the best, not the worst, but I probably wouldn't go back just for the food. We only ate breakfast so hopefully the lunch or dinner is better. It's definitely worth a visit.

An iconic place in the Upper West Side of New York. This diner is famously used as the exterior shot for Monk's Café in the beloved TV show "Seinfeld." The recognizable neon sign and facade have drawn countless fans to visit. Inside, you'll find a classic diner menu, making it a perfect stop for those looking to relive a piece of television history while enjoying some good, classic diner fare.

Nice place with a retro feel thanks to the beautiful and comfortable interior. Made world famous by Seinfeld but also a pillar of the local community. A lot of people say this is their favorite breakfast place (they open at 7 am). The food is delicious and reasonably priced, refills for coffee are possible. Went twice.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options such as spinach omelet.

Went there for the picture, stayed for the delicious meals. We had a Reuben comprised of a pastrami and cheese on rye bread sandwich, split pea soup and fries, my friend had a patty melt and everything was just superb. We even took a doggy bag home, so we had lunch and dinner for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend!

I hate writing this but is seems like my only resource. I am disabled with eight weeks of chemotherapy and radiation therapy ending last Wed. Have not eaten much and have lost thirty pounds. I was sharing with my friend who came in from Long Island everyday to take me to treatment I wanted eggs with mashed potatoes. We were both quite happy I had an appetite. At 9:30 pm took my service dog to go get my meal to bring home. As soon as I walked in the gentleman in the photo snapped at me asking, "service animal?" Finding is hard to talk due to the radiation replied "yes." He snapped again asking me for id. People with service animals don't need id. I replied with "I don't need id." He the asked me if it was to go which I told him yes. I ordered my eggs and mashed and he rudely told me to "wait outside." In a bit of shock in how he thinks it ok to treat the disabled I cancelled my order. I went home and drank two Ensure nutritional drink. My stomach got upset and I lost my appetite. This was horribly cruel.

Ordered a pastrami omelet and could not have been more disappointed. It arrived lukewarm, it was rubbery and bland tasting. The home fries were cold and unappetizing.

Love a great dinner. And this is one of them. Exactly what I expected for a greasy spoon breakfast.
