Tosokchon NYC is a total gem in Manhattan! I was blown away by the delicious Korean dishes. The ox tail soup was absolutely incredible—so flavorful and comforting. The pork soup rice was also a standout, with a rich broth and tender meat.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a meal with friends or family. I even celebrated the Spring Festival here, and the restaurant had a great festive vibe. Plus, their second anniversary lunch sets are such a good deal, offering a variety of tasty options at reasonable prices.
It's conveniently located, easy to get to by subway, and the service is friendly. Whether you're craving authentic Korean food or just looking for a great dining experience, Tosokchon NYC won't disappoint! Highly recommend. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Literally right under the Empire State Building—so convenient if you’re out sightseeing! Stopped by after checking out the landmark and it was the perfect post-walk meal.
Tried a bunch of their go-to dishes, and not a single one let me down:
• Bibim Naengmyun (Spicy Cold Noodles): So good, especially on a warm day! The noodles are super chewy, the sauce is that perfect tangy-spicy kick, and the soft-boiled egg + beef slices take it to another level.
• Haemul Pajeon (Seafood Pancake): Crispy on the edges, loaded with seafood and veggies inside—you can taste the freshness. Dipping it in the sauce? Chef’s kiss.
• Bul Dak Rabokki (Spicy Chicken Ramen & Rice Cakes): If you love spice, this is a must. The fire chicken ramen’s bold flavor mixes so well with the chewy rice cakes—had me going back for more even when my tongue was tingling!
• Samgyetang (Ginseng Chicken Soup): Cozy and comforting. The broth is deep and savory, the chicken falls off the bone, and it’s just the kind of warm meal that hits the spot.
The food here tastes like real, homey Korean cooking, and the service was quick too. Total five-star vibe—already planning to swing by again next time I’m in the area!

Just flew in from Seoul to New York, and I was so happy to find this spot! The oxtail soup was outstanding — clear and light yet deeply flavorful, with a natural sweetness in the broth. The oxtail itself was perfectly tender, falling right off the bone. It tasted truly authentic, just like what I’ve had in Korea. The other dishes we ordered were also delicious and well-prepared. A wonderful place for anyone craving real Korean flavors in NYC!

My family and I experienced little to no service throughout the meal. The only “efficiency” came from how quickly they cleared the plates and rushed us to pay. Even asking for a simple napkin took a long time.
When I chose “No tip” on the POS machine, the server immediately asked me in front of everyone why I wasn’t tipping. It was uncomfortable and felt like moral coercion.
This young lady (staff )was particularly rude and arrogant. There was zero respect for the customer. A restaurant that doesn’t offer basic service shouldn’t expect tips—let alone demand them.
The meat was extremely tough and the food overly salty. Definitely not worth the price.
I don’t recommend this place. There are plenty of better Korean/Japanese spots in NYC.

We were the only non-Koreans in the restaurant. Excellent food (no bells and whistles, just plain good), excellent service (courteous, not overwheming). Fair prices.
