Great jem in the panoply of NYC restaurants. Designed as a French bistro with excellent ambience, great food and value, and first rate service.
Love this place an the people that own and run it. We've been visiting their original sister location in Jackson Heights for years and had to try Le Tout Va Bien since they took it over. Food is always excellent and authentic, as is the atmosphere and the passion this family puts into everything they do. Highly recommend this hidden gem in an area that's otherwise teeming with mediocrity.
From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect! The service and the food were wonderful! We will definitely come and enjoy many more meals here!!! C'est magnifique !
This is such a gem and some of the finest French cuisine we have had in a long time. We decided to eat at the bar and appreciate how hard everyone works !! A special and delicious night!!
On arrival seems like a lovely restaurant. Greeted and shown to a table. After that the service not good, although not full it took ages to be served. When our meal came they missed an item off and it didn't come until we had nearly finished our meal. Service so slow, seemed to just ignore us we left without ordering more drinks or dessert. Disapointing.
Haven't been previously since they re-opened, but dined there multiple times under the original owner. Our experience last evening after theatre was like the old days. Excellent service, great meal and enjoyable conversation with fellow diners. Dining in Manhattan is getting expensive and just decent food doesn't justify it now. Tout Va Bien delivers an experience worth doing.
FOOD WAS EXCELLENT & TRUE TO FRENCH TRADITION. THE WINES BY GLASS WERE NOTABLE ( SANCERRE ET RHONE). SMALL QUAINT RESTO W AMBIANCE. A NICE EVENING! TIGHT SEATING BUT WELL MANAGED. RECOMMEND
Wonderful experience! My friend and I had tickets to see The Great Gatsby at the Broadway Theatre and I chose this restaurant because it was close to the theatre and it offered a pris - fixe menu for $45 for theater goers. Both of us had the Salad, Coq au Vin, and the Crème Brûlée. I highly recommend all three. There is also a full bar, and we each enjoyed a cocktail and a glass of rose with dinner. The waiter also brought us bread and butter and plenty of ice water. We sat outside, as inside seemed a bit cramped. If the weather cooperates, I would definitely sit outside.
Had an excellent pre-theater dinner the other night. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The outdoor area was most pleasant, and the food very very good. One of Manhattans better deals. We will be back for sure.
We had a complete lovely dining experience. The atmosphere is as authentic a Parisian bistro you can find outside of Paris. The servers were very friendly. The food was very good. Overall, terrific.

She: endive salad and mussels Provençale - excellent. He: Coq au vin - excellent. Both: cheese - not so good. Noted to waiter and cost immediately removed from the bill, with apologies. So, hate to mention, but check things out first. Excellent non-alcohol beer - Chauffeur.
Great food! Outstanding service. Place was packed. We've been here several times in the past because of the delicious food and friendly staff. It's always nice to have the owner recognize and welcome you back!
I usually don't seek out French food, but was happy with my experience. Had an escargot appetizer that was tasty but snails were small. Entree was stuffed chicken medallions in a brown sauce that was rich and tasty. Chocolate mousse desert was excellent and of course the wine was top notch. The staff was very friendly and responsive
Cute place with reasonably-priced and portioned pre-theater menu, but food was nothing special and service not so attentive.
Tout Va Bien has been a go to for me since the 1980's and was recommended to me by the Maitre d at La Côte Basque, who claimed that the Coq Au Vin was one of the best. Truthfully, Tout Va Bien was a lot less expensive than La Côte Basque and the Coq Au Vin was/is really remarkable. I am so glad that it reopened after the Pandemic shuttered it. It's still a totally wonderful experience and I will now come more often!
