As I was passing by 2av/78 st my #Toogoodtogo app sent me a notification that there is a food bag available for purchase at Tozzo. I quickly pressed Reserve and shortly walked into the store only to realize that my order did not take place and was Sold out. When the lady at the counter realized about it she actually went out of her way and packed me a custom pastry bag for free. What an integrity! And their sfogliatelle is actually to die for. Their pistachio and hazelnut coffees were good! They’re creamy, have a kick to it, and not too sweet. Just the perfect blend to start off your morning. Their pastries were buttery and soft. Tried pistachio croissant and cream puff, they were both heavenly! Love the set up outside with their Italian chairs. They have limited seats though but such a great spot to start off your day.

Can I adopt the lady to be my grandma (weekday afternoon just before closing)? She had such a gentle vibe and was great at explaining things.
I love the coffee - the idea of the espresso bottoms is so cool.
The iced cortados were delicious, so were the vegan desserts.
Go. It’s worth it.
