Alrighty Lagos… we came back for your redemption and I must say I am beyond happy with the improvements. This time it was just me and my boo and we sat on upstairs and we ended up getting the same server and Deja freakishly enough remembered my order too.She has great energy and service. Ask for her when you go to Lagos. The quality of food has definitely improved!!!! Way less greasy and comes out right temperature. Oh did I mention the wait time was only like 30 minutes and we were a walk in. The manager Emmit? I think was his name came over and checked on us which was refreshing. Lagos I hope you continue to do great things. The DJ was on point and the flower entrance was gorgeous.

I got some food TO GO and the bartender added 20% gratuity for just putting my order in, that is illegal!!!!. I waited for more than 30 min for my food to be ready. I had to go to work and come back to pick it up. When I got it the rice was dry, the chicken had no sauce and it was swimming in oil and the moi moi was dry like they warm it up in the microwave. Very bad experience. Very bad customer service. This is how you lose clients I personally won’t come back.

Lagos! I have been a follower since you guys were at 2nd Ave. I am super proud of the progress and growth. I came to the second location for the first time today on Monday night, and the atmosphere is breath taking. The chandelier’s ,the marble counter tops and the beautiful portrait of the Nigerian woman is stunning. It was my homegirls birthday and our server Deja? I think it was was attentive and gorgeous. Surprised my home girl with a cake for her birthday. Very sweet. It’s refreshing to have good genuine customer service. The food ugh let’s talk about it. We all got lamb chops, daja recommend the mac and cheese and it was delicious. We also tried the peri peri wings and they were the best wings I’ve had. I wanted the recipe. So the negative part of my night was no liquor. I was missing my fire on the mountain and one night stand man… but you guys are worth the wait. Thank you for keeping the Nigerian name going.

**WARNING** Service was absolutely the worst experience we've had in Manhattan. Due to the poor service, they automatically add in a 15% gratuity. Food was either overcooked or undercooked. Picture of overcooked bacon in a stuck-together heap.

NEW YORK'S WORST AMBASSADOR!!!Having walked into this venue for a take out style breakfast sandwich, I was THE ONLY PERSON IN WAITING. In walks another customer, this TERRIBLE NEW YORK business IGNORED ME and served the other. Then responded after my EXTREME LOUD "HELLO" with "I don't know who was here first" I walked out after leaving a few verbal notes.I GAVE THEM ONE STAR BECAUSE NOT GIVING THEM ONE WOULD NOT ALLOW THE REVIEW TO BE POSTED. The beer was cold the food was at the place is a lot of potential I'm pretty sure they use it as a nightclub and the dinner service is just an ancillary money maker with me and get the job done
I had eaten here pre pandemic and it was amazing. Tonight not so much. Very limited menu and even then they didn't have what was on the menu. Owner said it is more for bar seen now. Should have left then. Very disappointed.

This place is the pits!! Omg! Be careful! It's like frozen food reheated! The Cesar salad , how can you go wrong!! This place did! Only reason we ate here was bc of how late it was and a lot of places were closed. The waiter would not give us a receipt and only said out bill was $150!! This was shady and suspicious! Also how convenient the credit card machine is down!

Scam, fraud, and soliciting tips! Waiter told us after our meal it was Cash Only or by CashApp...... we said we only have debit and he magically appeared with a card reader from out back. Waiter never came with the bill, he manually added things in the card reader. $85 for spaghetti & meatballs, chicken sandwich, 1 cocktail, and 1 corona bottle. Prices didn't match the menu. Upon inquiring, he rudely said "hurry up i have other tables to get to". We knew he was charging us more than it was. After adding it up in our phones and not getting a price close to $85, he said "fine make it $60 and I'll just have to pay the rest" and then added "and if you don't tip, that's illegal I'll be calling the police". After paying to get the hell out of there, the waiter told us "and please don't come back!" because we had questioned his pricing. The entire service my friend and I were polite and calmly trying to make sense of the bill. I would leave 0 stars if possible. Staff was ripping off anybody vulnerable (tourists, young girls, etc) and food was less than sub par.
