Had a fantastic time for our first experience here. Every piece was fresh, my ginger plate never empty (and I never had to ask), and the price is unmatched for the quality.
My favorite pieces were the botan ebi (shrimp), hotate (scallop), and the chu toro. I’m honestly surprised that shrimp made my list, as it isn’t typically a nigiri I enjoy. But this was so fresh, so delicate, and raw — as it should be! I also ordered the special hotaru ika (firefly squid) and kinmadei (red snapper). The ika was particularly unique, but the snapper was my preference of the two special items I ordered at the end.
Husband loved the chu toro. Shoutout to the toro handroll as well.
The sake we ordered — Kikusui Junmai — was light, crisp, dry, and slightly nutty, just like I like it. It paired excellently with the menu.
A group of girls next to us were celebrating a birthday and the sushi creation they made for the birthday girl was stunning. I saw it had toro and caviar and a few other things I couldn’t tell from my vantage point. They finished it off with a quick spray of gold glitter. A beautiful touch.
We are eager to go back and to bring our friends! What a gem to have in the neighborhood. Go go go!
Not pictured: eel, ikura (YUM), chutoro handroll (sorry!)

Tsumo UWS is an incredible value. More than ten pieces of sushi for around $60 made for a truly satisfying and memorable omakase-style experience.
Simple, focused, and delicious — a perfect spot for quality sushi without the intimidating price tag. Definitely a place I would happily return to.

Regular omakase is very affordable, huge pieces of fish and lots of flavor variety and toppings. I would come back.

Really great sushi and experience. I went by myself for a solo birthday treat and they took great care of me. The only thing I would change could be the main sushi bar. I didn’t love that you are facing other patrons. Especially because I was by myself it felt a bit more awkward with the seating layout. Great fish though and great staff!

Unfortunately, I got food poisoning after eating here last night. Within hours, I experienced severe nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, lightheadedness, and a bad headache. I had to leave work early because of how sick I felt.
I reached out to the restaurant to let them know, and the response was disappointing. I was told that since the chef and no one else had complained, there wasn’t much they could do. I went on 2/4/26 at 5pm in hopes anyone else felt the same way- thanks.
I’ve come here over a dozen times in 6 months. This place is the Honda of Omakase - always reliable, reasonably priced, and gets the job done well. The quality of fish is always consistently solid for the price point. Service is no frills but considerate and friendly.

Such a fun experience! I can't beleive they get 300lbs of fish for the night. We got fed and fed until we couldn't no more. We got to try all the different parts of the tuna and some are so buttery that melts in your mouth. We went through more courses than expected and were satisfied 🤤💛🙏🏾

The most delicious omakase. It was so fresh, flavors were insane, and the chef was awesome. We did $58 for 13 courses and then got 1 special after. Worth every penny.
