Came in on Good Friday around 6:00 for dinner and sat at the bar. We were warmly welcomed and ordered house margaritas, which were perfectly balanced. We also ordered a mezcal flight. The bartender, Eric, was flexible with the choices in the flight. We ordered from the happy hour menu and had guacamole, beef tacos, and beef nachos, which were thankfully not served as a pile of chips. Each chip was layered with the most tender, flavorful beef, a beautiful pickled jalapeno, tomato, and cheese, with a serving of guacamole adorning the center of the plate. The beef tacos were well seasoned and tender, and the salsa verde was fresh and crisp. The best part of our evening was the hospitality. Eric was personable, informative, and attentive. He educated us about the different mezcals and tequilas and gave us some tips and tricks for navigating the city. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit again.

I can not write enough good things about this Mexican restaurant. To begin with, this is the most authentic restaurant I have come across in Hell's Kitchen. It has been at its location for over 20 years! That alone says enough. I came in for happy hour and their deals were great. I was attended by a young gentleman, Eric. He was so attentive and made sure I was well taken care of. The food was great I had the Mole poblano platter with HOMEMADE tortillas and my god they were so amazing, every single bite. I had the most delicious mango margarita after several happy hour drinks. My last drink was a double with a Tajin rim. Eric informed me all of their drinks were made with natural fruit - so keep that in mind. They have the most amazing tequila and mezcal selection. Eric was very informative about their selections and recommended some Tequilas I have never even heard of in my life. Their prices are fair especially because everything is so perfectly made and super fresh. Thank you Eric and Tulcingo Del Valle for your attentiveness! I will definitely be returning!

I was in the area after visiting the Intrepid museum and looking for a quick place to stop for a drink and some chips, I stumbled upon Tulcingo and had a really great experience! Eric was my server and he was very attentive and was an overall fantastic server. The restaurant itself was very clean and has a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back if I’m in the area again. I got the Mexican Mule and guacamole, both were very good!

Extremely disappointed with the service and food. Ordered for a veggies dish and was served chicken. The server wasn't even sorry about it and oveall a sad place.They margaritas was really bad and so So so overpriced.Sad place and a very sad experience.
