Really great place! The bartender was amazing and made perfect cocktails, and made great recommedations to my wife for wine selections. The food was really good as well. This will definately be one of our new regular places in the west village!

Stocking your bar with all the spirits humanity has invented is not enough. You need bar staff that know what to do with it, and bar ware to serve everything you stock. Having bar staff offering you VSOP cognac in a water glass is not acceptable. Especially not with the prices you charge.

Has a lot of potential but everything runs slowly. Also they first served others that came in later. Waited an unreasonable amount of time for a few cocktails.

Nice place for a cocktail or wine. Small and cozy. Prices are standard to the area but you don't have as much noise. Good for a place to have a drink and talk. We had wine but the food looked good

Walked-in with friends an hour before closing. As soon as the server came over he announced that they are closing in one hour. I tried to reassure him that we would definitely not stay later than their closing time specifically because I personally work in the restaurant/ bar industry and understand how things roll. We ordered 2 bottles of wine, the server brought us the content of the bottles already poured in glasses without offering a taste first. We gulped down the wine and 2 of my friends decided to order cocktails. Mind you, no last call was done yet. This time the bartender was the one with the attitude. Folks, things are simple. If you don't want people walking in an hour before closure just don't accept them. Better tell people to come back another day than accept them and serve them with bad demeanor. We were made feel totally unwelcome and rushed. It's a shame because it looks like a nice spot.

One of my fav bars in NYC. Oozing with old school charm and vibe. If you're looking to just chat away in a romantic, cozy, warm ambience with a date or a friend, go!!

I went here around when they opened, probably 9 or 10 years ago now. It was very cute. Perfect cozy date, or post-dinner spot. I felt the need to review today in order to offset the non-drinker who thought that 2 apps should rent them a romantic table in the west village for the evening.

Went here for a quick rendezvous with a friend. Got there early and literally no one was there (5:45pm on a friday). Had a 6:30pm reservation as well. Was told could sit anywhere; so we sat in the back on the couch. About 1.5 hours later, one of the staff came over and said they have to kick us out because they have another reservation. I asked if we could move to another empty table; they said "you can go next door". GREAT service! Felt like we were in some chop shop that just turns tables and hopes they can get the most alcoholics in there so you drink a ton and don't notice the mediocre food offerings. Won't be returning. Garbage service. Garbage food. Okay ambiance. So many superior places in West Village, this one isn't worth your time and money. Here’s my response: 1) you came to us at 7:15pm. Not 8pm. I was happy to leave frankly. 2) your other reservations aren’t my problem. I had one. I also asked if we could sit there when I arrived l, no objection then. Maybe a little forward thinking about your future commitments would help. Again zero change in my views but don’t make up things like we left at 8pm. Not true. Sorry I am not an alcoholic who doesn’t drink enough to make it worth your while. Adios.

Horrible service, very rude staff. Drinks were mediocre at best. There are so many better spots in this neighborhood.

We had this little gem all to ourselves! Great old school type of set up. Has a fabulous wine list and also a full bar. Seating inside and outside. Great date spot with lots of secluded seating in the back area. Service was good as it was just us! I went with a glass of Sancerre and my friends had a Rosè and a Cabernet Sauvignon. All 3 were excellent pours and big globe glasses. I'm not a big white wine fan but on this extremely humid hot day I wasn't feeling the reds. So I'd always heard the Sancerre was a great dry . It was perfect for this balmy weather. Nice and cold too. My Rosè friend said the same. I tried the Cab and it was really good too. Quaint spot we found just walking the area. Nice classy wine bar.

The waiter added tip by her own, after I signed the check.
