Two Boots Pizza West Village

I went to this establishment yesterday, 3/11/26, at around 9 PM with a group of friends, and we had one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had at a restaurant.

When we entered, we placed our order and I told the cashier that we would be eating in. We ordered an 18-inch pepperoni pizza and then went to sit at a table. About five minutes later, the same cashier came to our table and asked again if we were dining in. I replied yes and mentioned that I had already told her that when we ordered. She then told us that they would be closing in 15 minutes and that we would have to leave.

We said okay and understood, but shortly after that another customer (who appeared to be Caucasian) came in. She asked him if he was dining in, he said yes, and she told him that was fine and that he could take as long as he wanted.

Then she went to every single table—except ours—and offered free pizza. All of those tables were also occupied by Caucasian customers. My entire table felt extremely uncomfortable and offended. The way we were treated felt degrading and unfair.

For the record, we were not rude, loud, or disrespectful in any way. In fact, we were very polite the entire time. We are all working-class adults who simply wanted to sit down and enjoy a slice of pizza without feeling singled out or judged.

Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling ostracized and unwelcome. I would never come back here again. It is very disappointing that people can still be judged by the way they look—especially in a diverse city like New York. This experience was truly upsetting.

I love that Two Boots is back and I like their pizza so much but the staff here needs work. They forgot about my order and then when I asked, they rushed it so my pizza was lukewarm

Easy stop in west village for a slice. I enjoyed the one with sausage, peppers and onions

Umami reigns supreme when grabbing a couple of slices of pizza at Two Boots. My family and I have been faithful fans of your pizza, its unique assortment of flavors sparkle amongst the dull palate of standard pizza. A melange of flavors when Italian meets Louisiana that come together like separated at birth brothers.

went here with my friends on our last day in new york (3/8). the guy working the front was super kind and the food was great!

Nick was the best server ever

First time in NYC, stopped at the first place I got to. Dealers choice on the slice. Thy didn’t let me down. Slice and a coke just like I was told. Amazing.

Nick and Gil were very attentive and accommodating during the Friday dinner rush. I’ve never met such charming and alluring individuals. They were so hospitable that they gave me a free slice of pizza after I told them that I dropped my girlfriend’s by accident. Bravo! Thank you Nick and Gil. You guys took care of business 👍🏼
