The Brooklyn Blackout Cake was the best cake I've ever eaten. It's wildly delicious. I wanted so badly for it to reopen before I moved out of New York, alas it has not. When will she return.
I was there a few years ago and my expectations of its cheesecake were fully confirmed. It's certainly one of the best cheesecakes I've tasted in New York. I can't say it's the best because it probably isn't but it's certainly an excellent American cheesecake. Beautiful, full-bodied, abundant, succulent, infinite, lots of it. Let's say at the outset that the place is very small and has only very few seats but it is certainly a very welcoming...
Spectacular Bakery with freshly made cupcakes, cheesecakes, scones, and cookies that quench any sweet tooth. Known for their Red velvet, “Brooklyn Blackout” and Key Lime Pie. $4 a cupcake. 4.5/5 stars as a dessert spot.
