Ty Bar is one of the nicest and most sophisticated places to grab drinks after work or meet with someone during the day in Midtown Manhattan. I've visited this establishment in the Four Seasons a number of times over the years. Ty Bar was unfortunately closed during the last 5 years due to the pandemic and other reasons. Thankfully, 2024 Fall in NYC has brought back both the Four Seasons hotel and the Ty Bar located within!

A wonderful place, simply perfect: great ambience, stylish and very inviting. In addition, incredibly courteous and friendly staff and very tasty drinks! It's a very nice experience that I would definitely recommend: A Home far away from Home! Thanks for the great service!

The staff is rude and always in a rush to close the tap. I’m sitting with my friends. One friend goes to use the restroom and the waiter comes and gives me the cheque.

Honestly, amazing service. Very clean, expensive but you really do get what you pay for and the bites are perfectly done.

December in the city is beyond bustling. We stopped in for a few cocktails and a break from shopping. At 1pm it was quiet and the ambiance was just what we needed to relax. The server was efficient and professional. This was our first visit but won't be our last. The 2 hours that we spent here were the most peaceful hours of our 9 day trip!

Swanky cocktail bar at the Four Seasons.

Exceptional staff and amazing cocktails! We had a lovely late-night Christmas Day dinner at the bar and it was a classy, delicious experience. Not only was the ambiance on point—the beautiful tree and even the movie, Elf, playing above the fireplace—but the drinks were perfectly prepared. My Old Fashioned was so good! Our burger and truffle fries were fantastic and just the overall service and rapport we had with our servers and host was really nice. It was a cozy and special way to spend Christmas.

Great cocktails and there is always the odd group of forty something women stoned out of their minds to people watch.

I immediately felt the FS hospitality upon entering Ty Bar. As the sitting area became crowded, it remained relatively easy to have an intimate conversation with my party. The high ceiling does a great job managing the noise level while the modern art deco and chic design keeps you comfortable. Ty Bar does not offer a happy hour and drinks are a bit on the pricey side, but the cocktails are well done, and the liquors used are top notched. Would recommend the cocktails over the strait pours. I initially planned to drink at another bar that offers a view of Central Park but found it very easy to sit at Ty and stare into the IM Pei designed lobby. I later learned that the yellow color limestones are the same limestones used be Pei in his expansion of The Louvre in Paris. I really enjoyed the entire experience, and glad that we ended up at FS for the evening.

Good spot to stop for a pretty expensive for normal, but decent priced for Manhattan cocktail.
