Absolutely amazing experience.
We had such a great night, and a huge part of that was thanks to the bartender, Anthony. From the moment we sat down, the energy was warm, welcoming, and
fun. The drinks were exceptional—perfectly balanced, creative, and clearly made by someone who truly knows their craft.

Beyond the cocktails, the bartender made us feel taken care of and set the tone for the entire evening. Attentive without hovering, friendly without being overbearing—just flawless hospitality. It honestly turned a good night into a great one.

We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be sitting at the bar again for sure.

We had an amazing time during our visit to New York, and we had such a wonderful experience at this spot. The ice cream–themed façade is fun and unique, and inside you’ll find a cozy bar with just the right atmosphere.

We also loved how creative the cocktail menu was. The place was also clean when we visited, which we really appreciated.

Overall, a great experience and a place we’d recommend checking out!

We were really excited to visit this speakeasy, as the concept and ambiance have a lot of potential, but unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to expectations.

To start on a positive note, the doorman was excellent. He was animated, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, clearly setting the tone for what we hoped would be a great night. His energy and professionalism were the highlight of our visit and made us feel excited to step inside.

Once seated, however, things went downhill. It took over 40 minutes to receive our drinks, which were very basic cocktails — nothing complex, customized, or out of the ordinary. During that time, there was little to no communication from the staff acknowledging the delay or explaining what was happening. Waiting that long for standard drinks, especially at a speakeasy where cocktails are a central part of the experience, was extremely frustrating.

What made the wait more disappointing was that the bar did not appear overwhelmingly busy, which made the delay harder to understand. A simple check-in, apology, or update would have gone a long way, but instead we were left wondering if our order had been forgotten altogether.

Atmosphere-wise, the space itself is charming and well-designed, and you can tell there’s an intention to create something special. Unfortunately, service is a huge part of what makes a speakeasy feel intimate and elevated, and in this case, it really missed the mark.

I truly hope this was an off night, because there’s a strong foundation here. With better pacing, communication, and attention to service, this could be a great spot. For now, though, the excessively long wait for very basic drinks overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable experience.

I never leave reviews but unfortunately we were really disappointed with our experience at the speakeasy.

I had been years ago and it was great — but on my most recent visit the service was horrible. We were there for 2 hours and not a single other table came in. Despite being the only table there, it took 30+ minutes to get drinks. One of those drinks was completely undrinkable, but we couldn’t ask for a replacement because the bartender was nowhere to be found for another 20 minutes (again, we were the ONLY customers at the bar - not sure what he was doing in the back....)

They also didn’t know how to make very simple cocktails, like a dirty martini. For $20+ per cocktail price range, this was really disappointing.

I would rate 5 Stars for the Speakeasy setup and the look and feel of the place. But once you take away the Speakeasy concept and the Decor, it's an average Cocktail Lounge at best. Music they were playing was too techno and trendy which didn't match the ambience. Drinks were watered down but they did look cute.

Overall this place and the drinks they serve are great for Instagram Reels but if that's not what you are looking for then prepared to be disappointed.

An epic spot for all my ice cream lovers!

The UES is a 2-in-1: ice cream shop in the front and speakeasy in the back!

Atmosphere: You enter into a tiny ice cream shop that has pints of ice cream assembled into the shape of a door. Once you find out how to get inside, you enter into a completely different atmosphere with detailed decor ranging from old metro cards laminated into the tables or picture frames sporadically placed on the ceiling.
Service: Everyone here is kind and service-oriented.
Menu items: I got their I Left My Heart in Yorkville and 2nd Avenue Subway mocktails. I'm not big on drinking but love a good mocktail. Both had a tarte-like bit to them that went well with the creamy ice cream that comes with each drink. The ice cream was astounding; I loved how creamy it was and don't think I can fully describe it.

I highly recommend this experience especially if you want a less crowded experience that is unique!

Drinks were fine but this is absolutely criminal. Two mix drinks and five pigs in a blanket was $75. Even for upper east side that’s insane.

excellent service from walking in the door to getting drinks, delicious drinks and presentation, unparalleled atmosphere. Highly recommend. The staff is welcoming and professional. Anthony the bartender is incredible - first time meeting him but no doubt he’s been working here for years. We will be back

The drinks here were truly horrible. No flavor, incongruent flavors, tasted like liquor mixed with Gatorade
