So good that we went twice during our trip. Great service and amazing food. We had the pasta, pizza and salad, all were great and I would recommend!
We loved the calamari pasta. It was amazing very good service and pretty much all the staff are from Italy. That’s when you know it’s authentic and delicious. I’m pretentious and welcoming vibe, which is rare for New York. Food was so DeliciousI forgot to take pictures.

Total scam. Avoid this place like the plague.Went there 11/7/25 for dinner with a party of 18 to celebrate a friend’s accomplishment. Told it was $100 prix fixe. The server brought tiny portions to share at a table of 8. For example, we each got one very small meatball. When I asked for more was told there would be an additional charge (so I declined). Each course was set on the table to share and each was smaller than what would typically be served to one person in a real restaurant. Then we were told the price was actually $156/ person. No explanation. Finally, they imposed a requirement on how many credit cards they would accept per table. By this time we were all fed up ( yet still hungry) and demanded that they let us pay as we chose to do so. It took approximately 20 minutes to get our bill paid. I felt like we’d been robbed. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Ulivo is a gem of an Italian Restaurant. Our experience having lunch or dinner was perfect. Amazing food and wine selection. One of the best Italian Restaurants outside of Italy and in New York City! Buon appetito!!

We spent a few years in Italy and this is the closest to true southern Italian cuisine. Very nice atmosphere. Great service. And the pizza is the closest to Roman pizza in NyC.

I thought I would give a shout out to this authentic neighborhood restaurant serving well-prepared Italian food including their own fresh pasta. The food was tasty, the service was kind and professional and the space nicely designed. Prices are reasonable for New York and my meal came to $77 for one including tip. I had a starter, a main pasta and a glass of wine. The restaurant business in NYC is not easy and Ulivo offers a good dining experience.

Very fun place with perfect service, great atmosphere, and we enjoyed the cocktails. The pasta with eggplant and the linguine with clams were excellent. The ravioli was generally excellent (great pasta/stuffed cheese) but red sauce was just not good. The tiramisu and gelato were great deserts to top off the meal.
