Their service is very poor. We received no assistance or guidance regarding the menu, leaving us uninformed about the dishes. Despite our expectation for assistance from the waitstaff, they provided no help whatsoever. With over 52,000 restaurants in NYC, I'm confident we can find better service elsewhere.

Very authentic Chinese food ? I thought the prices were very reasonable, my friend and I ordered the sliced beef in chili oil and, the crab meat soup dumpling and two rice, and we left very satisfied - although some dishes on the menu can be much more expensive than what we ordered. The place is a bit cramped but that's to be expected for east village. The wait can get long also, so try to come a bit before the usual dinner time (6 ish pm on a weekday)I cannot wait to come back and try other dishes!

The night was so great! I hung out with my friends and we had a blast. The food was off the charts amazing. I ordered a bunch of stuff and loved it all. The drinks we had were so good too. We even got this dessert that looked like fried orange, but it totally fooled me haha! You gotta try it if you get the chance!

I spoke Chinese to the front desk, but the front desk insisted that he couldn't speak Chinese and asked him to find someone who spoke Chinese. He said no, he was the only one in the store. He was the front desk, waiter, and did all the cooking and cooking. It's the manager, awesome.
I'll preface by saying that the food is genuinely very good. I just think aspects of the service and price turned me off from wanting to come here again. After being in NYC for 6 months, I think this is unfortunately the first negative resteraunt experience I've had.So I showed up at 4:45 to wait for a table for 6. At ~5, I got a text that my table was ready. Not everyone was there yet so I went in to ask for them to bump us down the waitlist. Despite claiming a 15 minute grace period, they released our table 4 minutes after texting me. I talked to the waitress and she said I can just come back when my table is ready and we'll be next in line.At ~5:30, I go back to ask for our table but they said our names weren't on the list anymore? Even when I showed the text confirmation that our table was ready from 5pm they refused to accommodate and told us to just queue up again. So we queue up again at 5:30. Despite knowing I've been waiting since 4:45, they make us wait until 7:45pm - so I waited 3 hours to eat after being removed from the waitlist for a spot I waited for, and waited >2 hours again from scratch.I also think a couple things were surprising to us:The tea is $12 for just a single pot with no leaves/hot water refills. The large pecking duck comes with ~7 wraps, nowhere near enough to finish the chicken. I personally think the portion sizes were small for the price.Overall the food was honestly good. But given what happened, unless I had a reservation or a very specific reason to come, I would not gamble 3 hours of my life for the chance to eat here again. Simply too many good alternatives out there.
