The dishes I tried were absolutely fantastic. Truly fantastic — not just “good” or “very tasty,” but the kind of food that makes you pause and simply enjoy the moment. I want to give special recognition to our server, Paul. Honestly, I have never met anyone like him — you could make a movie about this person. He remembered that two weeks ago my daughter had been here and that she follows a gluten-free diet. Without hesitation, he immediately explained which dishes contained gluten and which did not. The level of attention to detail, care, and genuine friendliness was remarkable. This is not something you can fake or teach — no amount of money could buy this kind of service. It’s a true gift. Thank you to this place for allowing me to spend my birthday here. Have a wonderful year, my friends.

The oysters tasted like they had been shucked and left in a refrigerator for ages. The presentation of the food did not match the taste or quality. The atmosphere was warm but stuffy.

Gone are the days of Danny Meyer hospitality I guess. The ambiance this time was as nice as I always remember it to be, and the first couple appetizers were alright, but the service was questionable, with wine spilled over our cutlery and in our water and several misunderstandings throughout the evening. We then received a pork chop that was literally raw, and their only offer of recovery was to reheat the raw pork, which we had already sliced. What a disappointment.
The experience was wonderful, the food was excellent, and the taste of the food surpassed my expectations. It made my tongue melt by how good it was.The waiters were humble and very friendly. I highly recommend it.

One of the trend setting American restaurants that has been around for forty years is still serving delicious and inspired food. From the delicious bread to the excellent chocolate cake all of the food was flawless. Feels as of the moment as it did in the 1980s. Also a shout out to the the excellent service.
