Fantastic food, VERY reasonably priced, with lovely service and nice decor, plus soft sophisticated jazz. Could not ask for a better place anywhere in NYC, much less 1/2 block from Bway in this 'hood. I had the shrimp over rice (not listed below).

I ordered take out and I was looking forward to this meal based on the reviews but found the food to be very mediocre.

Good place overall with excellent service. The mango salad was very good, and the dishes were solid. Great portions for the price especially.

Surprising really good and fresh food. I walk by this place daily for over a year and never tried it since it was empty. Guess what, the food is delicious! I order takeout and was impressed. The food, presentation and service was spot on. It was so tasty, then I ordered again with a friend. They loved it, then I went to finally dine in and it was even better! The waitresses was super sweet, low key ambiance and a hidden gem. Now I order and dine in at least 1 or 2 times a month.

A fantastic selection of food, flavorful and interesting selection. One server, who seemed a little over-extended dealing with diners and a steady stream of takeout orders.Weird and unnecessary music - a selection of instrumental covers in a weird variety of genres, on a short, thus repetitive, loop.Definitely worth a visit.

Unique is unique! They truly have some of my favorite food in the neighborhood. Pick-up and delivery service provide a quick and pleasant experience. Drunken noodles are the best I’ve had in NY. Slow cooked pork tastes tender and homemade every time. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone!

For me the best Thai in the neighborhood and beyond. Never disappoint for years. Always super nice crew and delicious flavors ... my personal preference goes to the beef stew just because the herb flavors stay in the mouth making you feel the smell of the old times - when people were cooking for ever in front of a fireplace. Ambiance at the restaurant is just not fancy. It s casual and clean. Not over made - just what s needed.

A friend found this odd restaurant. You'd usually expect a restaurant named Unique Fusion in the middle of nowhere to not be that good but the ratings were super high so we decided to make the schlep there. They have some fun options (Thai empanada anyone) and the service was friendly. It's a casual spot and overall the food was excellent though the appetizers were better than the entrees. I had a lychee iced tea which wasn't overly sweetened and it was pretty tasty. We first got the Mango Salad with sliced mango, red onions, tomato, Thai chili, roasted cashew, cilantro, garlic, fresh lime juice, and fish sauce. Excellent version with a good amount of heat especially towards the bottom. I'd like it maybe slightly hotter with more spots but then again it's not an Isan spot so it's this style and it's definitely a good version. We also got as an appetizer two of the dishes from the empanada section. My preference of the two was the Flank Steak Empanda consisting of grilled marinated flank steak with onions, garlic, and basil and with a Thai-style pickled salad and aioli. The mead inside was tender and very well flavored and as noted by others there was a unique spice. I presume there was star anise judging by the slight licorice flavor but there was definitely curry powder and some other stuff in there. Very tasty. The Half Moon Turnover consisted of curried chicken, onion, potato, and oyster sauce wrapped in an oversized paratha and just like the other one it was served with a Thai-style pickled salad. This was essentially a giant version of a curry puff with a thicker crust and a lot more filling of course as it was so big. Also very tasty though less unique. We got a bunch of dishes from the entree sections. Most of the main dishes are served with jasmine rice with some exceptions and I would say that they all had some faults. The Slow Cooked Pork Shoulder with onions, garlic, and pineapple was likely my favorite. The pork was super tender with a rich flavor and the pineapple added some good tartness. There was also a bit of sweetness in the dish with my only potential complaint being that I found it a bit wet/ I wouldn't have minded the au jus being thicker but that's really only minor. My other favorite was the Salmon Green Curry consisting of a reasonably sized piece of grilled salmon served in green curry with bell pepper (which we substituted for string beans,) eggplant, and basil. Usually I have a bit of trepidation with Thai curries served with bell peppers as this isn't traditional and usually a sign of an American Thai spot but the curry here was very solid. Well flavored with some spice and not too sweet. The Pad See Ew with chicken Thai rice noodles, egg, and Chinese (or regular) broccoli in a sweet soy sauce was pretty good. Solid noodle texture and pretty tender chicken. This was the third best of the mains and it was fine.OK was the Thai Beef Stew with celery, carrots, onions, mushroom and Thai basil. Just like the pork shoulder, the beef was very tender what's a good texture but there was way too much of some spice in it almost overpoweringly so. I'm pretty positive it was cloves but I'm not sure. Otherwise tasty especially if they were to reduce the amount of whatever that spice was (or I don't know let's say that as a Thai Clove Beef Stew.)The Crispy Chicken Over Rice consisting of breaded chicken tenders with sweet chili sauce served with sliced cucumber and ginger rice most likely the weakest of the dishes. The chicken was a little bit bland and the breading was too heavy. The sweet chili sauce helped but not too much. For desserts we got the Mango With Sticky Rice and Lemon Tart. The former was the standard with good quality mango and not super sweet rice. The lemon tart had a good sourness though I would say the crust was a bit thick. Still both were tasty and I would get both again and they were both reasonably priced.Overall the food was good. If this was in a different neighborhood, I would probably give them a mid 3 saying that

A surprise treasure in Inwood. We recently moved up north from Manhattan and lost our favorite Thai in the last few weeks. However, we feel so lucky to have found Qwan & her sister. The whole menu is exciting but for our first order we had Massaman Curry with chicken. The sauce was rich with coconut milk, potatoes, onions, & peanuts. We had an appetizer of pork dumplings, which were also great. We will DEFINITELY visit again & again.

This place is gem. The food is always fresh, & the waitress is always sweet & attentive. You step into a different world with the decor & music. Not to mention the food is delicious, be it the Pad Thai or Mango Salad there’s no wrong decision when it comes the menu
