Consistently one of my favorite places in Manhattan. The food, atmosphere, and staff are all excellent. Notably Nora the sommelier is AMAZING and Rachel is wonderful.I always look forward to returning.

We were seated at the bar and Nicole took care of us. She made the entire experience at Upland an absolute delight and was the most attentive and friendly server, all the while juggling the busiest time of the evening and multi-tasking like a pro. We’ll be back because of her stellar service!

The most delicious delicious food I have had in quite a while at an nyc restaurant. We split 7-8 dishes amongst us and particularly good was the burrata, Margherita pizza, and rigatoni

A nice place to enjoy breakfast. Great tasting pancakes, eggs any style as well as Benedict and good coffee are available. Service is cordial and the atmosphere is elegant.

My friend made a reservation with one of the managers weeks ago. It w as a long email chain with multiple back and forth emails. When we arrived, the reservation was nowhere to be found. We showed the receptionist the email confirming our reservation. For the next twenty minutes they tried to find room for 5 adults and 4 kids. Finally, they gave us a table set for four adults. I told them this is likely going to be too small. Then they gave us the table next to two doors. Every time the door opened it was frigid wind blowing onto us and all our children less than 5 years old. Then I walked downstairs to the bathroom. There is an entire room down there with plenty of tables. I look around the restaurant, there are plenty of open tables with enough room from all of us sans frigid wind. The burger was good , the pickle was not. The brunch steak looks like 40% of the size of the dinner steak and not proportional in pricing. It was bland. Part of it was medium and part of it was well done. The steak is hidden by two eggs so you can estimate how small it was.

Upland is up, up, up and away a fantastic restaurant.The vibe is cool ?. Nice decor and comfortable.The food is absolutely delicious ?!The salad was amazing. Their dressing was light and very tasty.Their double cheeseburger was outstanding. The bun did not overwhelm the burger. Cooked to perfection.Make sure you make a reservation.
