I had the pleasure of dining at Leitao,and it was truly an incredible experience. The food was superb—authentic, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Every dish showcased the richness of Portuguese cuisine, paired with excellent wine selections that complemented the meal beautifully.
The service was warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. What made the evening even more special was the Fado night—the music was absolutely mesmerizing, creating an atmosphere that was both intimate and full of soul.
If you’re looking for a place that offers outstanding food, great wine, and an unforgettable cultural experience, this is it. I can’t wait to return!

Everything was so incredible about our dinner at Leitao. Each dish we tried tasted exquisite. In a city with so many options, this establishment instantly became a favorite. Special shout out to Victor is a phenomenal staff member.

No offense but I really didn’t enjoy this meal. The flavors were quite bland, everything was greasy and some of the food came out cold. The cocktails were too sweet and we didn’t finish any of them. Kind of surprising given how highly rated this place is. I will say it was turning into a party vibe around 10pm on a Friday and that seemed fun.
Some in my group enjoyed a couple dishes like the carpaccio and the grilled octopus. It sounds like the flavors are quite authentic. Maybe if you’re a Portuguese food lover give it a try - else I’d pass

Great authentic Portuguese food, very welcoming and friendly staff (Victor was great!) and thoughtful host (obrigado Nuno!). We were 2 people and had 3 starters, 2 mains and 1 pastel de nata each for dessert. Everything was delicious but I especially recommend the "carne de porco à alentejana" he wine "Esporão" was fantastic. We'll come back often, and also learned they organize Fado nights, so we look forward to that as well.
