Highly disappointed with my first experience at Upstairs rooftop. The bartender took it upon himself to add a tip to my receipt (HE EDITED THE TIP AMOUNT AFTER I SIGNED THE RECEIPT & WALKED AWAY FROM THE BAR) although my friends and I purchased a few rounds of drinks and tipped him. Upon noticing the payment discrepancy a couple of days later, I immediately contacted Upstairs over the course of two weeks via phone and email. None of the mangers made the incentive to call or email me with an update regarding my refund. Finally, after sending a 3rd email, the director of operations stated she would forward my request to the accountant for a refund of the dollar amount her bartender unjustly added to my receipt...no apology or anything. I will most certainly share my experience with friends so that they do not fall into the same situation. Again, highly disappointed...I wonder how many other individuals this bartender will take advantage of?

Came here two nights on holiday. It’s such a lovely, positive and friendly vibe- both in terms of the customers and the barstaff. The bartender also remembered me and my girlfriend on the second night, giving me a fist bump and my girlfriend a wave as soon as we came in. He even poured me a free shot when I bought my second drink of the night.The drinks they serve are also pleasantly strong… never like it when I can hardly taste the alcohol in my drink.It’s a dollar to request a song to sing.

Nice vibe, cute please great music!!! But then online says they close at 2am we got here at 12:30 they were not serving drinks and saying the bar was closed!I have two starts because they said they will only make us one drink and that was it! By 1am bar was already closed. It’s a Friday,,, customers will come in late at night!!! If you guys don’t want to work late at night then you should change the hrs!

Ambiance and service were top notch, wait staff friendly. Stephanie on the bar made an immaculate cocktail and Luisa (I think a manager) was not only engaging and responsive, but a wealth of knowledge on the city. Definitely recommend!
The waitress basically told us at 10:30 it was last call, then 15 minutes later/, a customer arrived in front of us, ordered wine with his friend. The waitress was never happy to serve me or my wife, the clear message was "I don't want you to be here" which might have been something about our appearance, maybe because my wife is Asian. Get rid of the blonde waitress, she poisoned the vibe. I asked her what time was last call, and she said later last call was 11pm, so she lied to us outright to get us to leave. Poison!
