Food is good but the manager is very rude and disrespectful
I hate to rate a vegan restaurant lowly but their food is simply not good. I got some of their curry chickpeas and the spices were so off that it literally tasted bitter. I could barely finish it even when I tried to pair it with their macaroni salad which had so much mayo it had me feeling sick after. Their "chicken legs" are also awful, so watery and extremely tough with an undesirable aftertaste. At first I thought maybe soy chicken was just really hard to make, but every other restaurant I've tried it at made it 10000000x better. The only thing I enjoyed here was an eggplant fritter, which I feel like it's hard to mess up. Updated from previous review on 2025-02-23
Nice 'fast' food but with lots of healthy options and lots of variety. It was fun to have a plate of lots of different things and to pay by weight. Also lots of cakes available (the bread pudding was delicious and perfectly moist / not too sweet)
Disgusting.. that’s all I’ll say

So so so yummy and one of my favorite vegan restaurants ever. Would go so often if I lived closer.

The food is perfect in this low-key neighborhood gem. I'm not a vegetarian, and not only are these dishes revitalizing, but the mock meat substitutes make you not miss the originals.

Delicious and fast. I normally don’t have time for anything other than the hot bar which is always great, if a little expensive.

Don’t expect anything healthy here - but the Mac n’ Cheese was delicious and so is the rice and beans. Great cold food weather in Harlem.
Good filling food. Food comes by weight.
After watching dominion, I knew I couldn’t bare eating any animal products again. The way the animals are treated, the conditions they’re forced in, the impacts it has on the environment. I could go on. I’m so grateful a vegan restaurant like this exists! Pigs, cows, cats, dogs, etc are friends not food 💚

Food was delicious and had a real kick to it. The counter was busy evidence that other people enjoy the food as well.

Great vegan restaurant, lots of choice, very pleasant staff. The patties and juices are particularly tasty!
Not to be missed during your visit to Harlem 😁

This is my go to spot for food in NYC. They have a superb variety of food. Literally everything there is good from the cakes to the mac and cheese. If you are in the area you just try this place.

They stole 28 dollars and they never have what you want lady on the phone was very rude hung up on me never ordering from here again.... pure thief
The plantains are so good that as soon as I finished them I wanted to go back to the restaurant to get more. Everything else was good, many dishes seemed light and healthy but also comforting. Will definitely be back.
