I tried a few of their February specials and everything felt thoughtfully made, not overly sweet or artificial. The Tiramisu Latte was smooth and comforting, especially with the little biscuit on top that made it feel like a drinkable dessert. The Strawberry Matcha Cloud was light and fresh, with real fruit flavor instead of syrupy sweetness. Their Rose Velvet Latte had a subtle floral note that was surprisingly calming. I also loved the Basque cheesecakes, especially the lavender earl grey, which was unique without being overpowering. The space has a warm wood-toned interior that’s perfect for working or catching up with a friend!

I was so excited to try this cafe when I discovered it on Instagram! The speciality lattes that I wanted to try were out of stock, so I opted for the Tiramisu latte! Goodness, it was so delicious! It was warm to taste! And my sister ate the sugar cookie! Would love to come back again! However, the cafe is quite small!

Nice spot, but the flat white was pretty small for the price. They have a basement for additional seating, but it was freezing down there. Great vibe, but could use a bit more warmth (literally and in portion size)!

My college roommate and I were only in town for a few days and were lucky enough to stumble upon the cutest, quaintest little breakfast spot. The service was excellent, the lattes were absolutely amazing, and the sandwiches were bursting with flavor—we honestly couldn’t pick a favorite! 10/10 would recommend stopping by Urban Backyard if you’re in the area. ☕🥪✨

A lovely little café in Soho. Very pretty and cosy, with delicious pastries and excellent coffee. Small in size but full of charm — a perfect spot for a sweet break.

retro cafe in Nolita, NYC, on mulberry street, @urbanbackyardnyc has a great retro feel. It’s cosy, has friendly barista, great coffee and lovely baked pastries. The basement has a lot of comfortable seating.

I ordered a tiramisulate, extra hot. I know they heard me because they wrote extra hot on my cup. And I swear the coffee was no warmer than a room temperature glass of water. It was very strange, and unenjoyable. Also, $11 for a latte with oat milk?? Won't be back.
