After spending time walking through The Intrepid, it was lunch time and we found this place on our way back.They have regular and vegan options, we decided for the vegan because we are dairy free. We were greeted by the general manager, she was very pleasant and attentive. We opted for seating on the back patio which was very nicely decorated and was very inviting. There are no physical menus, you just scan a QR code and it pops up on your phone. I did my research ahead of time and already had an idea of what I wanted. We settled for the panini with soy chickn and the tomato soup. Food came promptly and it was pipping hot! It was beautifully presented and came with a mandarin orange along with a blueberry muffin that smelled delicious. The food was love at first bite, everything was perfect and so tasty, we were very pleased with all. It felt like comfort food after spending time in the cold, the sandwich was very well seasoned and the soup was very creamy. We took a to go box for our muffin and ate it when we landed back home so we know to come back. I hope to see this business grow further and keep their menu as good as we experienced. I am unsure why it took me so long to get over to UT47, but I am glad I finally made it there this January, and as often as possible since!I love that they have two sides to the restaurant - one is dine-in, which closes an hour earlier, and the other side is take-out only. The dine-in side is a long-ish, small space which is cutely decorated with zebra wallpaper and other zen items that make it inviting and cozy. They don't allow laptops which is nice because you can actually go in and find a table in the middle of the afternoon to have a bite to eat or a drink.The host is the sweetest and always has a smile on his face and provides the best service!Let's talk about the food and drinks - WOW! First of all, those super lattes are not to be missed. My favorite is the mermaid latte - it's so beautiful with it's blue color and has the loveliest flavor with a slightly sweet hint of rose. I love that they use mugs lined with steel so your drinks stays hot the entire time! There are so many milk alternatives to choose from as well so it's really suitable for everyone.The food options are excellent - they have a regular menu and a vegan menu and gluten-free options. I'm not vegan, but I like ordering from that menu and they are able to modify it to include real cheese or eggs as needed. I've had the vegan blt and the sweet baked vegan tofu bacon blt - both were delicious!This is definitely my new favorite go-to during the week for a quick lunch or a satisfying latte.
I have no idea where so many good reviews come from. I ordered a vegan bagel sandwich, and the bagel was the worst one I’ve ever had, with a very dry texture. Also the marinated tofu, tomato, avocado, and cheese were nothing special. Their latte tasted not bad, but I also hate that they use a metallic bottle. If you are seeing the good reviews, don’t go

Needed to grab food before an off Broadway show and thought to check this place out. Glad we did! My gluten free sandwich (#2) was tasty tasty and canned with a specially packaged chocolate treat. My wife got the very messy and very delicious #22 and couldn't stop raving. Coffee is in a sealed to go container which is perfect. NYC prices but with proper NYC quality.Dietary restrictions: Very careful about gluten free and almost everything could be made gluten free.
Such a great spot! We usually stop in for beverages but today we tried the sweet baked bacon grilled cheese and it was to die for; truly we’re still thinking about how good it was days later. The flavors, the portion size, and the brownie and orange on the side to complete the meal were perfection. The staff is always super friendly. Good food, good drinks, good vibes!
