⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ HANDS DOWN BEST PIZZA the crust was absolutely perfect! Can tell it’s authentic from the first bite

Severely undercooked penne with a lackluster vodka sauce. Very underwhelming experience. Pass on this

The manager was rude. He threw us out, in spite of ordering $300 worth of food just because my friend was feeling sick. He called her drunk and what, not.

We went to Uva Next Door to celebrate my wife’s birthday. It was a night to remember for sure. The atmosphere was great, food was delicious, and the staff was great.

Shoutout to Luccas (two c’s for extra charming). He was absolutely fantastic. He was everything you want in a waiter: friendly, knowledgeable, and super attentive. If management is reading this, take this into account during his review. He’s one of your best.

We’ll be back!

I haven’t been to UVA yet, so this was my first introduction. Overall, it was a good experience, but maybe not quite living up to the hype.

The atmosphere: Inside, the design is very cool, except it is deafening. We sat outside in the cabana, and it was surprisingly more private than I thought. The only negative is that the tables are so small. For three people, there was barely enough space for all of our plates.

The staff: all of the staff we encountered were very kind. Our server was helpful, but I think she had the entire outside to herself, so sometimes she would go missing.

The food: I thought the pasta had lots of flavor. Unfortunately, my filled pasta was a bit overcooked and lost some texture.

Guys, I never do this. But this pasta is so disgusting I can’t even eat it and it was *30 Dollars.*
The veal agnolotti is literally inedible. I am so grossed out. What a waste!
Also, I ordered the “dog meatball” which I assumed was just a meatball for your dog or a side of meatball, bc it was *9 dollars* and it came just a cold pile of gross ground meat and no idea what it was supposed to be.
Soooooo disappointed. Never again.
Delivered quickly but otherwise literally never again.

Fantastic food--especially the Sardinian flatbread--and cocktails. Our UES go-to restaurant, but it is a bit noisy.

Went for the "$4 Martini Mondays" as advertised and was charged $8 for each drink instead.

Stated in large font at the top of the drink menu is: "$4 Martinis. All. Night. Long." With a list of martinis offered.
We sat at the bar and when my girlfriend ordered she said "I'll have the Sour Cherry martini." The bartender nodded understanding and went off to make the drink. Returned with a beautiful martini. Little while later the bartender asks if she would like another one and my girlfriend says "I'll try the espresso martini." Lovely, the drink is amazing. Same thing happens again, bartender comes over and my girlfriend asks "i'll have another espresso martini."
(We also ordered food that was great.)

Bill comes and the drinks were listed as $8 each?? I asked the bartender, "isn't it $4 martinis" and she says "no you have to ask for the small $4 martinis, otherwise it's just a full sized $8 martini." As I look confused she says "that's how it works, it's not my fault."

Now at the very bottom of the "$4 Martini Monday" menu is a little line that says: "Know what you love? Double your pour for just $4 more - $8 doubles"

At NO point was it expressed to us that the standard is a double pour or the $8 martini. In fact the menu clearly states the purpose of the night is $4 martinis, and if you want a double, ask for it. The bartender said there was nothing she could do and it wasn't her fault? She never asked us which size martini we would like, why would you assume we want a double?

Poor business model and poorly addressed by the bartender. I was enraged but didn't want to make a scene. Bartender tried to offer "two more half-martinis" to make up for it but at this point why do we need more alcohol, we're walking out. No offer was made to rectify the price.
