Appetizers- We ordered spring rolls and vegetables steamed dumplings. One can’t go wrong with spring roll. Dumplings wrap so very thick which made me feel like eating dough.
Main Course - We ordered avocado masama curry (apparently that was the only curry without fish sauce) and it didn’t feel like Thai at all. I am big veggie person, I love to add a lot of veggies to my meals but the vegetables added to this curry was the worst I ever tasted in Thai food. Also, the curry was sweet in taste even though we asked them to make spicy. We also ordered Siam rice, it was good. You can try it if you are vegetarian.
Drinks - We ordered thai ice tea and berry. We really enjoyed the drinks.
Ambience & Service was good. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to any of my vegetarian friends. Not many options for them. Also, I felt the prices were too high and food was not at all worth the price.

It’s a lovely restaurant visibly. Vibrant decor with a laidback vibe. The crab ragoon was a 10/10. I enjoyed the shrimp dumplings as well. The highlight was the adult sweet tea. Definitely a Long Island but way better. Unfortunately I was charged twice when we split the bill 3 ways. I was hoping the transaction would fall off but it didn’t. So I have to dispute it with my bank. I feel like the server should have caught that.

Had fun hanging out with good friends here. The dragon kite, the jellyfish decor and the women's restroom were total vibe and inspiring!! I had a dirty chihuahua & a pearfection to drink, both great, & tasty homeade crab rangoons to eat (We got a big kick out of my pearfection drink presentation and we all took turn renaming it.)

This was my go to theatre place for years.during happy hour. went recently and was really disappointed. They discontinued their chicken wings. The special spring rolls which were like 8 long were gone replaced by oily commercial rolls.Abd they would not substitute chicken for shrimp in their pineapple rice dish which they had in the past . Add to that they almost doubled the price of the happy hour drink and I won’t be going back .I should have said something when I left .

I always appreciate how queer friendly this place is, and the food is both delicious and affordable especially for Hell's Kitchen.
Unfriendly service, small dishes but good flavor

My experience at VIV Thai overall was good. I was a little taken aback when I received an email from VIV at 2pm on the date of my reservation to advise that there would be a $50 minimum per person because we were a table of 10. I called VIV to advise that such late notice was not acceptable especially since I made the ressie at the restaurant because it did not have a minimum required for groups of 10+. Although, my group did reach that minimum, I was not pleased to be notified so late and knowing that it was too late to make a reservation elsewhere for such a large group. The staff ended up being nice enough but I felt because of the earlier exchange, they were not attentive to our table unless we held up our hand for service. However, the food and drinks were excellent. The place is very cozy and cute. I would still recommend this place to anyone looking for good Thai food.
Delicious food and attentive service. Nice vibe to have dinner with friends. Good music. Service was very nice and quick.

The food is even better than in Thailand. ❗️If you’re sensitive to spicy food, be careful — even the “not spicy” dishes are still spicy.
Excellent experience. We found this place for something close to the Play we watched and the hotel. It did not disappoint! Excellent dishes, everything that we all had on our table was just delicious. Great appetizers and main courses.
Maybe a touch loud but it's a small place and very busy on a Saturday night.

This food was delicious. we ordered spring rolls and moo ping (marinated pork skewers) then PAD SEE EIW with crispy pork (so good), a red curry dish then MASSAMAN NUA (beef short ribs) It was all delish. I'm going to go back for sure.
We ordered several items from the menu and specifically requested that everything be mild. Unfortunately, the food arrived extremely spicy, so much so that we could only manage a few spoonfuls. When we informed the server that we couldn’t eat the dishes, he responded by saying that this is how mild is prepared at their restaurant. There was no apology or attempt to offer a solution. We left the restaurant disappointed and would not return.
