We had such an amazing dinner at Valbella. Service was 5 star and everything we were served was beautifully made and exceptionally good. We especially loved the Caesar salad, penne alla vodka and parpadelle with bolognese sauce. The restaurant wasn’t too busy the night we were there and we have no idea why. People are missing this absolute gem. Try it - I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Dining at Valbella is a true New York experience in the heart of Midtown near Bryant Park. Want to impress your friends and family .... take them to Valbella. You're treated like family by a team of expert staff. The owner is always there making sure everyone is having the best time! If you're a wine lover, the extensive wine list will impress. I thoroughly enjoyed the lobster tail and filet mignon. My dessert, please try, was the Napolitano! Best I've ever tasted. The environment is energetic and fun. I noticed there are also private rooms for larger groups as well as a great bar. Enjoy!
A very expensive restaurant for the quality of food which was good but not excellent. There is a very expensive wine list (all starting at $175 ) but no wines by the glass. Our waiter “chose” a glass for us for $35 each. The pasta dishes we got were fine but definitely not worth $40 each. Out waiter was really joyful
The food and service was 5 star! We were there to celebrate an an engagement and couldn't have asked for a better evening. I'll be back and would recommend Valbella to anyone who wants a top notch experience.
Everything was absolutely delicious and my drinks were amazing! It's such a beautiful restaurant!
This was a really fun dining experience. I was not expecting a combination of sushi and Italian, but this is the place to do it. While more known for the Italian, the sushi was totally outstanding. The Italian seafood pasta I ordered was good although not life changing. The energy of this place is infectious in a good way, and the service is absolutely incredible by the entire staff. My only suggestion is that the wine list needs more economical options (most options are so expensive it's almost comical), but the multiple wines by the glass were high quality at sensible prices. We will definitely return.
I was expecting more. The carcofi salad sounded wonderful, and would have been had it not been drowning in dressing. The greens were so drenched they were inedible. It was a shame because the dressing itself was excellent, just too much. Same thing with my sushi roll. Too much sauce. The chef or line cook needs to have a lighter hand. At such a high end restaurant one expects more. On the plus side, the restaurant itself is lovely and the service was excellent.

The staff is amazing, very accommodating and pleasant. The food is mediocre, maybe dependent upon the dish. Ordered the risotto special (with seafood and wine, instead of the menu standard) and I was disappointed. While the flavor was reasonable it was very soupy. Not worth $65.
Our dinner was superb! The service was flawless and most accommodating to us! We were a group of 8 and ordered an assortment of appetizers to share before indulging in our main selections. Portions were plentiful and delicious! Everyone's meal (veal, fish and steak ) came out cooked to perfection. Looking forward to our next visit.
By far the best Italian in mid town. This is my go to for dinner with my wife when we come to town.
Very authentic with delicious fine dining.

Yes, the food is phenomenal...authentic, delicious, and beautifully prepared. Yes, the ambiance is one of the best in the city, with an outdoor space that's truly unparalleled. But what makes this place unforgettable is the heart behind it. The second the elevator doors opened to the dining room, the owner was sitting at the bar, personally greeting every guest with warmth and familiarity. It was such an old-school New York moment...in the best way possible. In a city obsessed with who's who, velvet ropes, and influencer clout, this restaurant is a breath of fresh air. I watched the owner walk over to every table, checking in, chatting, making people feel like they mattered. He even asked my kids what they felt like eating (and then had the kitchen make two completely off-menu items just to make them happy)... Who does that anymore? In a world of overhyped, underwhelming hotspots, this place is the real deal. The food, the service, the vibe is all 10/10. Worth every penny. Go here. Bring people you love for the special moments you want to celebrate (or watch the game with some antipasto, and glass of wine in the outdoor space with your friends after work) either way, you'll walk out smiling.
