I traveled all the way from New Jersey to Harlem New York for this birthday cake.
I specifically came on a Tuesday due to their special you can get a cake and guva pastelillos for $35 plus tax, which was an amazing steel.
The cake had a great texture & the pineapple filling was sweet, but not overly sweet. I would definitely travel back for the guava pastries They are melt in your mouth.

Decided to go with Valencia for my wedding cake and the decision was fantastic. Everyone there had grown up with Valencia as the bakery you went to for special occasion cakes, so it was a real nostalgia bomb (in the good way).
The cake was EXACTLY what I had picked from them, and the edible glitter was a magical touch. Add to that the cake was DELICIOUS (we got guava and custard together in one cake) and I couldn't be more happy with my order.

My grandsons cake was amazing it was fresh and tasted great
I ordered a birthday cake for my mother well in advance for pick up. However, I was very disappointed to find that the cake lacked moisture. I reached out the next day, and the woman advised me to send a text with a picture of the cake. After I did that, she instructed me to bring the cake back. I was confused because what restaurant or bakery asks you to return a half-eaten cake? Isn't that against health food regulations? I explained that we do not live close, making it a significant inconvenience to drop off the cake. She didn't seem to care and just said she needed to show her coworkers. This was extremely disappointing. We have ordered from Valencia Bakery in the past without any issues, and she never apologized. This was overall unacceptable. My mother did not deserve this. Valencia, you need to do better.

I purchased today two slices of Valencia cake and they are good but I also purchased a whole bread pudding . The bread pudding is a complete waste of money. It’s dry and not moist at all. It had no taste whatsoever. I noticed that it also had sesame seeds in it. It’s completely nasty. Never again
