Mixed experience. The Oysters weren't great. But the most off-putting was a chaotic service attempting to move us just when we ordered the main. We decided to not accept it and left. No desire to repeat.

We had a wonderful Easter Brunch at Valerie. The food was very good and the portions were large. Everyone enjoyed their entrees and the mimosas were flowing. We look forward to going back for drinks in the future.

I went there last saturday for food and drinks. It's good cause the kitchen is open late. But I did not enjoy my food. The hallibut was really dry and way overcooked. A little bit slow service too.

What a cool and awesome vibe! We had an amazing beverage, and the charcuterie board was super yummy! Just a quick walk from Time Square and 100% worth a visit! Colton was our bartender and gave us some other great suggestions on where to go! The experience, overall, was just amazing!!!

Made reservations for 3pm arrived earlier than the 2nd half of my party they sat me at our table which was nice to wait. I was able to order from the brunch menu which ended after 3pm. The options were decent but I was hoping to order from the dinner menu but didn't know it began at 5pm so was sort of rushed to order before the kitchen closed. I was appreciative of being made aware of the kitchen closing but would have preferred to know in advance that menu change didn't begin until 5pm. I would recommend to not have a 3pm option for reservations when that's when the kitchen closes. You can def still order drinks but if you want food you are sort of rushed to order from brunch menu or wait 2hrs for dinner. Service was wonderful and food was tasty and good quality and well portioned. I would just stop sit down food reservations at 2pm not 3pm!

Drinks were decent, food was decent. Service was meh. We were rushed. Maybe about 30 minutes after food came out, they started coming by to ask whether we were done with our food at what felt like once every 10 minutes frequency. Two different people seemingly alternating -- so it's possible they were not coordinated and each of them wasn't aware the other was also checking, but in which case, improved training is in order. Also, the young man was clearly not having a good day. He came by maybe 5-6 times and not even a hint of smile. The young woman was warmer and more friendly. Anyway, I had better experiences with service the previous two times, so I'll still visit again -- hopefully this was a fluke.

Delicious food and amazing atmosphere! A bit on the pricey side. Try the crab entree it’s super tasty. Celebrated my birthday here and they gave me a nice tart for free. Definitely will come back for the happy hour.

Another great time at Valerie! Food and cocktails are both exceptional, especially for the area. Great vibe, too.

Waited for table which is acceptable. The lack of attention from our first blonde female server was unacceptable. I ordered a drink while waiting for my partner to arrive and after she dropped off my drink she didn't return to ask if I wanted anything else for more than 20 minutes even though I made eye contact with her several times. I finally asked another server, Pete, for an appetizer. He actually saved the evening. The female server spent more time gossiping with another female that she couldn't break away to even ask if I wanted an appetizer while I waited. Furthermore, she continuously touched her face and mouth while walking aimlessly around the restaurant.

The bar itself is beautiful, and the jazz band were great. The hostess was also very nice. However the bartender at Sunday brunch was so rude. She didn’t acknowledge us got a long time just walked past, when she did finally she had a seriously bad attitude. She then over charged us and when we said it to her she didn’t apologize just ripped the check off the bar and threw a new one down. No sorry, nothing. And I understand that people make mistakes but it was her rudeness that was the issue. We just left after that and went to a bar in the area, who told us a lot of people complain about the service in Valerie which isn’t a surprise honestly. It’s a pity because I’m sure the food was also delicious but we weren’t going to stay where we felt uncomfortable

I’m obsessed with this place!! Perfect spot for a group. Beautiful restaurant set up, great music but still able to hear everyone speak at your table.I got the signature burger and fries and it was perfectly cooked. Everyone else loved their meals as well. There’s a bar right next door that is a sister restaurant to Valerie with the same set up, definitely go there for post dinner cocktails!
