Van Leeuwen Ice Cream

Tasty peanut butter brownie honeycomb ice cream. The fancy cones are not vegan but they do have basic cones that (they say) are. Or you can get a scoop in a cup like I did.

It was good but definitely had better for the price point :) had a variety of flavor selections so if you’re into variety this might be the place for you!! I’d go again if it was convenient or if a friend wanted to go but it doesn’t stick out in my mind as my first few choices when thinking/ looking for ice cream :)

Paid $14 for three scoops of ice cream I could barely taste. This brand used to be good and I get the same flavors every time. Came specifically for the earl grey and matcha strawberry and should have just gone home with a tub of ice cream from the regular supermarket. What a disappointment.

There were at least 3 workers there but only one person scooping and ringing people up. The others never made eye contact with the long line of customers and were just walking to and fro.

Lots of unique vegan ice cream options! Tasted and loved every single one.

I would have given a five star review but they ran out of root beer for a root beer float and that is what i wanted to order. Instead, I purchased an ice cream sandwich with strawberry shortcake in the center and it was just so delicious. The wait was decently long thought but the food made up for the wait.

Love this place! Wonderful selection of gourmet ice cream flavors. I highly recommend their ice cream cake flavor and their honeycomb flavor, as they are both perfectly creamy, with the honeycomb adding a much-needed crunch and complexity to the sugary ice cream. The ice cream cake flavor had little bits of perfectly moist cake, with a flavor similar to cookies and cream, just with cake. My only complaint was that the line was very long and took 30 or so minutes. But I do love the atmosphere! Very cute spot.

Vegetarian options: They have many vegan selections with their own dedicated area for them.

Great selection of ice cream. Staff dont pay attention to you at first. it doesn't matter how close you get to the counter or anything. Once they do notice you, they are pretty friendly and helpful. Pistachio milkshake was awesome.

Trash treatment. One of the women who was on the cash literally screamed at us. Very disappointed of this.

First time trying their ice cream and it was delicious. Chocolate lover and their chocolate flavor is a 10/10!!

A special shoutout to the young lady that attended us, when I arrived there were 10 people ahead of me and by the time I got to the front of the register there were about 20ish people on the line. She handled the rush ALONE, with grace and PATIENCE. Wonderful job!

@management: Do better & schedule your staff more efficiently! The weekends are busy and there should be no reason why there was only one person on the floor during your rush hours. The co worker that was with her once I arrived and left shortly after (I assume her shift ended) was kind enough to leave her stocked with waffle cups/cones but there should have been at least 3 people on shift not just 1!

😡Extremely rude staffs works here. First they are lazy and don’t want to serve. Second they can’t even remember client’s order and have an attitude. Then ask rudely again about our order. We asked her to speak nicely, and she ignored us. Then I asked for her name, and she ignored us. The girl infront of the shop ignore our request to ask for the other girl’s name.

So if you don’t want to work here, please quit! We are carrying a child and if you don’t like serving kids ice cream, please just go home and don’t ruin the brand.

Loved the number of options they had for vegans. Yummy but very very sweet. A bit much for me.

Large selection of vegan flavours, generous helpings. I had banana bread pudding and dark chocolate fudge and my partner peanut butter honeycomb and cookie dough and all flavours were delicious. I liked the fact their ice cream is not overly sweet.
