I thought about giving it 3 stars, but they gave me everything on disposable plates to eat at the place.
In general, the taste, service and price-for-supply ratio is mediocre.

Absolutely delicious dumplings. Great variety. Excellent prices. (They even have frozen dumplings to take home and cook.) Super casual- a few shared tables and people rotate through quickly.

Price. Wish the customer experience was better picking up from the store. We ordered food for 4 and they gave us 1 set of chopsticks and no napkins. At least ask, no?

What a gem this spot is for beef noodle soup. The broth is rich and satisfying. The beef is perfectly tender and flavorful. I was so surprised at how good it was!!! The dumplings are great as always, esp the pork with chives. And the pancakes are addictive. I like them plain but they can load it up with different fillings including some veg options.

The best part about this place is that it’s cheap. Boiled Dumplings were mediocre. Pork and cabbage bun was mostly bun and the filling itself was somewhat bland.

Great vegan options at a great price! We tried a bunch of things, I liked it all. But I was surprised at how much I loved the tofu sesame pancake sandwich, it was delicious!

Food is always good but the service speed is awful. I've gone 3 times and everytime, whether I order one appetizer or a main with an appetizer, it will take over 30 minutes. The fact I ordered 2 appetizers and it took over 25 minutes is a bit of a joke.

I have nothing bad to say about this place. Right next to the NYPL so when I was returning some books I passed by this and thought to give it a try. Good prices, filling food. I got the essence pancake tofu sandwich.
