If you are visiting the Museum of the City of New York, it’s a nearby option. They have a separate vegan menu but the things we ordered were just ok.
I like that there is a full vegan menu but the food is not that authentic imo. The eggplant dish I got was sliced weird and some tasted undercooked. I would maybe consider trying another dish here but wouldn’t go out of my way. The interior looks nice and the food came out fast, but maybe a little too quick.
It says it's VEGAN Restaurant, I went there 11:00 AM they were closed not open, There was Mexican waiting there he said they open in 30 minutes, i said you work here, he said yes so I asked Question is this VEGAN Restaurant he Replied yes so left & came back Later, we decided to sit look at menu and Order, i thought chicken was VEGAN i was ready to Order and always make sure so i asked Waiter is this all VEGAN he said no and we had to leave, i cured out mexicunt while walking to My car and Google needs to have accurate update on this restaurant because a lot of this restaurants they not even vegan. This is the reason I gave them two stars and the owner of this restaurants also needs to make sure information is correct because they doing this because they want more business a vegan people to come eat there as well I guess.
They have a huge vegan menu of veggies, tofu, noodles, fried rice, etc. Staff are knowledgeable about vegan options. I was disappointed, because the only GF items are edamame, a tofu appetizer, papaya salad, and maybe one other salad. Even things that seem obviously GF (like stir fried mixed veggies) have soy sauce with wheat. They made the items vegan by removing fish sauce or oyster sauce and replacing with soy sauce (with wheat). If you are just vegetarian or vegan (but *not* gluten- free), check out Chu Ros! If you need vegan *and* gluten-free, check out the nearby Mrs. An Thai.
It is not clear from their website, but in the restaurant itself, they have entire (separate) vegan menu (see photo), so make sure to ask for it. What I had was very filling, though admittedly not more than adequate--I prefer Ms. An Thai nearby. Still, I am glad to see that they offer so many vegan options.
Quite a variety of dishes available that are vegan or can be made vegan. Friendly staff
Great addition to the East Harlem food scene. Ordered repeatedly and really like it. Nice choice of options.Delivery: Yes
