Upscale and classy spot. Tremendous ambiance and lovely atmosphere. Good food, but could be better for the price.Piri Piri chicken is the winning entree choice. Halibut and Salmon were both a bit bland. Bread and Hummus were the best appetizers.Desserts were splendid.
Amazing food and service. Open air on a beautiful summer evening. My wife had the scallops and I had the halibut. Each was amazing but I have to give a special shoutout to the servers who were so knowledgeable and helpful. Made for an amazing evening! Highly recommend!
Ambiance is great with a view. The menu is limited but yum! Do try the scallops. And do not leave without having desserts. The citrus looks and tastes beautiful.
Great experience for dinner last night. The restaurant is elegant and lighting was intimate; a very elevated ambiance. Staff was courteous and attentive, and the food was delicious. Will definitely return and recommend!
At start I really liked the location, great vibes.I have been debating between 3 or 4 stars.I'm giving 4 because the service was really goodFood though is a 3. Plates are trying too hard. I didn't like the Tuna Tartar nor the Scallops.Cocktails too are quite average.Desserts on the other hand were deliciousI wouldn't come back, one time it's enough.
Everything was excellent! The minute we stepped in the door. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food, outstanding service. Thank you!
Awesome decor and great vibe! Food is good not outstanding! The service is excellent! We sat at the bar and enjoyed drinks, dinner and conversation with the very good looking bartender, a former Israeli soldier!
appetizers were excellent— mini sourdough loaf, burrata and cherry tomatoes, tempura olives. cocktails are strong and delicious. main courses (scallops with curry, halibut in broth) were very good, not great. dessert was the most interesting and inventive— a chocolate shell made to look exactly like a lime, filled with cream and accompanied by all kinds of delicious flavors and textures. dessert stole the show. service was friendly and warm. dining room was a bit loud, but otherwise the ambiance was great. recommended.
This is a must go. The people are incredible , the food unique and the atmosphere comes as you are. Gowns to shorts. I can not say enough good things aboutit. And, my foodie friend agrees. Cauliflower steak, branzino for two tomatoes and fried olives.
The view was amazing the food ? was so fresh and filling and the ambiance, decor and overall service made me a fan. I loved it would definitely go back ?? I got the pri-pri chicken as my main plate and hummus and the tomato basil flatbread as appetizers. For desert me and my partner ordered the Citrus, STRAWBERRY & RHUBARB & homemade cherry vanilla ice-cream ?? I also had the VERANDA BLACKBERRY SWITCHEL cocktail which was very light, filling and equally strong ?? highly recommended

Top to bottom, Veranda was amazing. When I made the reservation I included that it was me and my girlfriend’s anniversary as the occasion. When we arrived at the hostess stand and gave our name, they instantly wished us a happy anniversary. When dropping off our menus, we noticed there was an envelope with a card inside. The note thanked us for choosing to share our special day with them and told us to prepare for something special to start. It was dated and signed by our waiter, Parker (who was amazing). Parker then dropped off two champagne flutes and wished us happy anniversary again. Parker’s recommendations for food and cocktails were homeruns as well. The food was delicious and cocktails great as well. The vibe is bright and airy. A great dining experience.
Very date night lighting (as you can see in the pictures) with good food. I ordered almost all the vegetarian things on the menu. Really liked the crispy fries (from the bar food menu), pesto pasta, beet ravioli and pea/asparagus flatbread. The cauliflower steak was really underwhelming (hence I reduced one star from my original 4 star rating) especially given the price of the dish. Also had the citrus dessert which was unique and super-tart
Beautiful, the food is not bad - though caramelly pasta was extremely salty 1 star for service - will never be back to that place - completely ruined inmpression- it was our anniversary dinner and they didn’t even try to make it special - only asked in the beginning- is it your anniversary?First we asked for tap water - they put so little water in our glasses though it was extremely hot outside. I’ve never seen any restaurant in New York be sooo greedy with tap water! They actually acted like they are doing a favour serving us. I asked for coffee with oat milk - they said they had it but came back with almond milk coffee and asked if it was okay as they had run out of oat milk - could they ask me before making it? I’m allergic to almond milk and asked them just to bring americano without milk then. Coffee was okay. After we ordered desserts I asked them for another coffee - espresso and guess what? They didn’t even bother to bring it! When we asked for check the waitress just said - we didn’t include your espresso to your check. So - they didn’t even ask if I still wanted my coffee and just assumed I didn’t.I have a food blog and I know a lot of restaurants in New York and trust me - this one you might want to skip going. New York has much better stuff to offer.
Nice ambiance especially with the roof that can open. Food was good. Skirt steak (steak and eggs) and spicy guacamole rock
Great drinks and dessert
