Upscale and classy spot. Tremendous ambiance and lovely atmosphere. Good food, but could be better for the price.Piri Piri chicken is the winning entree choice. Halibut and Salmon were both a bit bland. Bread and Hummus were the best appetizers.Desserts were splendid.

Amazing food and service. Open air on a beautiful summer evening. My wife had the scallops and I had the halibut. Each was amazing but I have to give a special shoutout to the servers who were so knowledgeable and helpful. Made for an amazing evening! Highly recommend!

Ambiance is great with a view. The menu is limited but yum! Do try the scallops. And do not leave without having desserts. The citrus looks and tastes beautiful.

Great experience for dinner last night. The restaurant is elegant and lighting was intimate; a very elevated ambiance. Staff was courteous and attentive, and the food was delicious. Will definitely return and recommend!

I was excited to hear that finally someone opened a restaurant in this spot. It's gorgeous and in the heart of Soho. Perfect way to start your evening and then you can go to Jimmy's for a view and drinks. Unfortunately, besides a well designed modern interior there is nothing else. Hostesses are very nice and polite and bar crew is great. Waiters are very slow, but maybe it's not their fault but issue with kitchen. The main point food was BAD. I ordered tuna tar tar that was over salted in the level that it was only taste of salt. Ordered beef with with broccoli, arrived steak with glazed potatoes and completely different source. I denied to eat it. A manager arrived and "assured " me that it's exactly what I ordered and potatoes are not listed in the menu and source was as described with little modification. I should mentioned that my drinks and food were not included in the check. But you go to the restaurant to enjoy food not sit there for free... I wish they can improve quality of food and train stuff to talk to customers. P.S. the dessert was DELICIOUS

We had a surprisingly pleasant dining experience at Veranda. Usually the food at restaurants this beautiful is more mediocre than anything, but everything we tried was quite good. Sourdough - I've had better but it's hard to mess up sourdough Red pesto pasta - Really delicious, cooked perfectly al dente Chicken and rice - Shocked that such bland and pasty looking chicken was so beautifully tender and juicy Cod croquettes - This!! Please get this. And use all the sauce when eating it Pear dessert - So fun to eat and tasted great too

Cannot say enough about the experience at Veranda! If you can look beyond the beautiful aesthetic, the food, and the service were nothing but high class. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. Their summer flatbread was delicious. Will be returning!!!

At start I really liked the location, great vibes.I have been debating between 3 or 4 stars.I'm giving 4 because the service was really goodFood though is a 3. Plates are trying too hard. I didn't like the Tuna Tartar nor the Scallops.Cocktails too are quite average.Desserts on the other hand were deliciousI wouldn't come back, one time it's enough.

Interior design-beautiful. Ambience-beautiful. Food-mediocre. Price-high. Staff was nice and lovely. But when the waitress continuously stops by almost every 10-20 mins, it almost feels like we are being rushed out while we are talking. The restaurant wasnt full and there were plenty of seats available, so i dont understand why she kept asking if we were doing good. It was starting to get annoying. Food portions are small. It tasted okay, nothing special to my friends and I. We went for brunch. Not sure if we want to do dinner yet. Views are spectacular though so although tempted, not eager to go back.

After having back to back great dining experiences, Veranda was a huge letdown. The Brunch was mediocre at best but it's the HAIR IN THE PASTA that was a major turn off. There's another review on Yelp where someone found hair in their cocktail. YIKES! Not to mention our server & the manager literally shrugged it off with an offhand 'I'm sorry' apology. We did get a free dessert (gee thanks). The service here is also sloppy / lazy. Plus there were flies everywhere as they had their glass roof open in 75 deg humidity, with no A/C. Aside from the ambience, this restaurant has nothing to offer. Clearly rebranding the place didn't do much for Veranda. It's so not worth the $200+ tab.

Awesome decor and great vibe! Food is good not outstanding! The service is excellent! We sat at the bar and enjoyed drinks, dinner and conversation with the very good looking bartender, a former Israeli soldier!

appetizers were excellent— mini sourdough loaf, burrata and cherry tomatoes, tempura olives. cocktails are strong and delicious. main courses (scallops with curry, halibut in broth) were very good, not great. dessert was the most interesting and inventive— a chocolate shell made to look exactly like a lime, filled with cream and accompanied by all kinds of delicious flavors and textures. dessert stole the show. service was friendly and warm. dining room was a bit loud, but otherwise the ambiance was great. recommended.

I have been here twice now. There has been only 2 consistent things: 1. We had terrace seating and it rained both times so they accommodated us indoors & 2. Food, cocktails and service was impeccable. I can't wait to go again and hopefully not have bad weather so we can actually sit on terrace

This is a must go. The people are incredible , the food unique and the atmosphere comes as you are. Gowns to shorts. I can not say enough good things aboutit. And, my foodie friend agrees. Cauliflower steak, branzino for two tomatoes and fried olives.
