I had dinner at vicolina tonight with my boyfriend, and it was a wonderful experience. Food is delicious and service was outstanding. Love the gnocchi and panzanella salad, highly recommend both. Carlos was our waiter and he was delightful. Can't wait to go back. Love love love!!!

Opentable Diner

It was our first time dining at vicolina - upon arrival we were well greeted by the hostess. The restaurant was jam packed but the staff, the food and the ambience were outstanding. We can't wait to go back. Loved everything about this place. Thank you

What a lovely venue to celebrate my husbands birthday! We truly enjoyed the experience - Vicolina never disappoints. Looking forward to celebrating more special moments at this lovely restaurant. They have a lovely speakeasy next door, ask the staff to take you there, it's a MUST! ❤️❤️

If you're looking for some good traditional Italian dishes Vicolina is the spot! Cozy restaurant, attentive staff and coolest jazz playlist. We loved everything about this place. Can't wait to be back.

This is a nice, quiet, very upscale Italian restaurant. A little pricey, but an easy walk from the Met and Guggenheim. It appeared to be frequented by local residence.

It was SO GOOD. ? I had the Branzino (pictured) with the Risotto - best RisottoI've had in my life, and the fish was so buttery smoothe. My mother had the Gamberino (pictured) with the Linguine alle Vongole. We switched veggies, so I ate the spinach that came with her Gamberino - it was delicious.

Food is very good but overpriced. A green salad for $25? Specials expensive but large portions also.

A beautiful sophisticated restaurant with excellent food and an attentive staff. Expensive!

Food overall was pretty good. Although skip the meatball appetizer, surprisingly a lot of Italian restaurants have trouble with that

We went for Valentines day and the restaurant was only serving a pre fixe menu but the the restaurant permitted you to order a la carte from the pre fixe. Ordering a la carte was considerably more expensive despite the fact that none of the desserts looked interesting and we didn't want to order and waste food. We also had to wait about 45 minutes between appetizer and entree. It was overpriced and took too long.

We were there early, in advance of a show at the nearby 92d Street Y. There were only 4-5 parties in the restaurant. It's a pretty place, the menu looked good, but the food was mediocre, and so was service. Bus boys kept our bottled water glasses filled, but the waiter paid no attention to us whatsoever, beyond taking our order. He couldn't be bothered—never asked if we liked our food, needed anything, or wanted desert or coffee. Prices are sky-high. The tuna tartare with avocado was a weird kind of mash with a few chips ($24 or $28), and the Caesar salad was a plateful of unappetizing looking pale green Romaine lettuce (hearts only) with croutons ($28) was just okay. The special pasta—pappardelle with a bit of overcooked, chewy lobster, spinach, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes($34?)—was not good. I'll never go back.
