Covid pick up review! I was walking along the street and saw a sign for their 10 taco + pitcher of frozen Margaritas for $36++ feast. They threw in chips too. Delicious tacos and margaritas, nice price, great people working. Would recommend. Tacos were soooooooo good. Hope to go back after Covid.

My new favorite! This is our first time ordering food from Villa Cemita and we look forward to coming back again and again! The food is excellent (flavorful, fresh, and filling), well priced, really fast execution from order to pickup, and supremely kind service from the staff. We were walking on A street and noticed the inviting decor set up outside the restaurant (dine-in closed during COVID but available for pick up and delivery). The menu looked appetizing so on a whim, we ordered pulled pork chimichangas and a veggie burrito bowl. Literally, 5 minutes later the food was ready! Even though the restaurant is closed for dining during COVID, the servers did a wonderful job of creating a warm and inviting ambience by displaying the food & decorating on the sidewalk outside the pick-up window. Definitely recommend! Plus- they add lots of different salsas and their take out packaging is recyclable!

It’s a nice little place, the tamale Benedict’s were delicious. The French toast was pretty average. Service was just fine, nothing great. The only complaint is that there were no signs that it’s an only cash place, nor did the waiter mention anything upon arrival, they have an ATM but for anyone who isn’t comfortable using it, it catches you off guard and creates a problem. Will want to return for the tamale Benedict’s, it’s quite unique and rarely heard of!

Visiting NYC for my ladies Bday, we were looking for the "perfect" brunch.. well let me tell you, this brunch was PERFECT!! The food was delicious, the staff was so friendly, so amazing, so accommodating!! All of this AND it was during the corona virus madness. Anytime I visit from DC, I will make it a priority to visit these wonderful people

I LOVE this place! One of my favorite spots in NY so far! The brunch deal was amazing it's only $37 for meal entree and bottomless margs, sangria, or mimosas come on where can you go wrong with this! The manager JOE is amazing!!! He's SO attentive and outgoing I think he must've been the best part of this visit to be honest. The rose sangria is absolutely to die for, it has so much flavor and it's absolutely delicious, and don't forget the guacamole as a starter. Best guacamole hands down, I ordered the chilaquila (I forgot how to spell it) which was really good as well with red salsa because I can't handle spiciness but when I finished my entree I still found myself scraping what was left of the guacamole. Next time I will go I will order endless bowls of guacamole because I don't even know what they put in there that gives it so much flavor in your taste buds! You must go here and try! There is a huge back room for party reservations if you're looking to throw a birthday bash as well, it's secluded and pretty intimate with a bit of Mexican flair!

I stopped by Villa Cemita as part of a pulsd deal ($55 for 3 courses & 4 cocktails/wine/beer for two people) and it ended up being a great deal to catch up with a few friends. From the outside, you wouldn't be able to tell that this restaurant is actually quite long and there's a large room towards the back. The entire restaurant feels modern and trendy, and there's a projector at the bar area that'd be good to watch during a game. Service throughout the entire night was friendly and attentive, and the food was tasty. Although some dishes were small, I was surprised at how nicely presented each dish was! Even the "Drunken Nachos" appetizer looked tidy and neat, and all the entrees were vibrant and colorful. There's also a pretty good menu of cocktails/drinks to choose from, and my friends all got a kick out of seeing one of the wine cocktails (I can't remember the name), which was served in a mini skull decanter. The regular menu is on the pricier end but it seemed on par with the nearby restaurants in East Village. I'd come back on the pulsd deal. Note that the pulsd deal comes with a slightly smaller menu, but it still had a good selection to choose from. The restaurant also serves bottomless brunch here on the weekends, so I might just have to try that next time!

Came here for their bottomless brunch with a group of friends and we were not disappointed! The drinks are delicious and not wasted down like some places. The menu had diverse options and all of the food came out timely and delicious. The staff was efficient and friendly. It was a great overall happy and laid back atmosphere.
We did bottomless brunch and ordered a few different entrees. The food was amazing and our waiter was very nice and helpful.

The wait for food was way too long. Food was only average and definitely not worth the price. Had a Groupon deal but was told they could not honor it. Even so, they could have offered something as an apology for the inconvenience, but nothing was offered.

I really like this spot! This is a great place to go for really good drinks, friendly service, and to meet up with friends. It's not very loud in there so you'll be able to have a conversation with friends without screaming, which is a huge plus in NYC. Of course it's on the pricier side for food, but the drinks were extremely reasonable given it's NYC and super tasty. Hostess and waiter were both really friendly. I highly recommend the spicy cucumber margarita and the passion fruit margarita. Will be coming back.
